At this point in the conversation, the maid couldn't find any more excuses to stop them.
With no other choice, she brought Yan Xiaye in front of everyone and exchanged a quick glance with Eureka, shaking her head helplessly.
These small gestures went unnoticed by Yan Xiaye but didn't escape Cass's exceptionally deep gaze. He wore a playful smile on his lips, as if meeting Yan Xiaye for the first time: "Miss, are you Li Yuntang's fiancée?"
Yan Xiaye nodded slightly and cooperatively said, "My surname is Yan, Yan Xiaye."
"So it's Miss Yan," Cass recited her name, giving Elisa a deliberate look. "Perhaps you haven't heard of me, but I'm very interested in you and your business. I wonder if I have the honor of taking you out tonight?"
Yan Xiaye feigned surprise with great acting and hesitantly looked at Eureka, asking innocently, "Just the two of us?"
"No, of course not."
Eureka met her gaze, inner alarms sounding, and instinctively gave a negative response.
