Chapter 53 - Chapter 43

Year 298 AC

<––––-––––>

In the room with the shimmering golden ceiling, rolling in the soft silken sheets, three bodies battled with passion, their carnal whispers and moans sinful enough to plunge even the hardest of hearts into the abyss of lust.

"Azaerys!" Elia screamed her lover's name as the most brutal orgasm of her life washed through her, and Arianne, who was suckling on her left nipple, cruelly nibbled her, sending jolts through her body that made her moan soundlessly.

The King stared into the misty eyes of his lover, hovering over her, caged inside her depths. He rubbed her cheek with the back of his fingers, and Elia soon leaned into his touch and kissed his hand.

"I need some rest." She admitted her defeat, and her niece giggled in delight as she pried her legs open, allowing her husband to free himself from her confines.

"My turn." She claimed him, pushing him to lay down next to Elia, and straddled his waist, lowering herself onto his manhood that was painfully, delightfully hard.

The older Princess watched as her niece wantonly rode the King like a wench, and her moans and screams even embarrassed her, who had believed that she was the most shameless of all in bed.

She did not know what it was, but since last year, the fire in her loins had been excruciatingly ablaze. She could not help herself and arrived at Dragonport unannounced, a little worried that Azaerys would be upset.

He was not upset, but glad, and that night he had poured his essence on the fire in her loins, quenching it until dawn. He even set aside three days of the week for her, even though Lyanna, Laena, and Laeha were there too.

Rhaenys was still recovering from the birth of her son, who had been born in the fall last year, and it was the same for Kiara, his Lengii slave princess, who had birthed him a sweet little daughter earlier that summer. And there had been another birth in their household in early spring, when Ashara gave birth to another child of immense beauty, a princess who smiled when she saw her parents, and even giggled, melting the hearts of those who were present in the room.

Elia had expected Ashara to be a little disappointed. The Queen had been hoping for a son, but she was happy when she held her second child, cooed to her, and even shed tears of joy when the sweet soul captivated her.

Aelora Targaryen, Vaerra Raenygar, and Aelyx Targaryen.

The children in their household were the light of their lives, and Rhaenys had refused to return to Dragonport, choosing to stay in Siren for a year or two.

And today, Elia was even happier.

She had received the letter early in the morning, and she was a grandmother again.

Myrmadora, whom Aegon had married last year, had given birth to a prince. Her son now had an heir, whom Daenerys described as an adorable bundle of joy who cried a lot and suckled on his mother's teats even more.

Aegon named him Aenys Nefaeryon, a fitting name for a future king. But one happy piece of news was not enough. The Gods were too kind to them. Aegon also informed her that his Lengii princess was expecting twins, who would come into this world in the early moons of the coming year.

He had decided not to return to Dragonport and instead keep his wives company. It seemed unfair to Desmera, whom he had married at the start of this year on her fifteenth nameday, only to leave after spending merely four moons with her.

She was unaware of their truth right now, and she was not allowed in Siren. Azaerys had been very clear with his orders. She could not be with Aegon at their secret manse.

On the bright side, Desmera seemed happy here with her cousins and the Queens of Dragonport, who were always up to something fun to keep her engaged.

She had not complained even once in the last two moons, and Elia could not help but feel that her son had truly chosen a very sensible bride. She was a sweet girl, very sweet and obedient, and Aegon was kind to her, writing to her every sennight.

Elia was lost in her thoughts when Arianne's scream of ecstasy pulled her back to the present, and her heart skipped a beat at how enchanting her niece looked right now, hugging Azaerys, who was now sitting with his Queen's legs wrapped around his waist.

"Azaerys." She softly called out to him, and he shifted, turning to face her.

"Yes?"

"Margaery sneaked into your room the night Aegon and Desmera got married. Did you..." she trailed off, and it was Arianne who groaned, almost in disappointment.

"He did not. A pretty maiden asked him to take her maidenhead, stripped in front of him, and he refused her." She pouted, and the King chuckled at her antics.

"I did not wish to sully her innocence."

"Why?" asked Elia, sitting up to kiss his lips. "Is she not pretty enough?"

"She's pretty, but I was not thinking that at that moment."

"You took Kiara the moment you laid eyes on her." She smiled, looking into his eyes.

"Margaery pales in comparison to Kiara. You cannot compare a princess to a lady from a noble house." Arianne sweetly said, but the haughtiness in her expression sent a giggle rushing out of Elia's mouth.

"True."

Almost relieved that her aunt agreed, the Queen rested her head back on her husband's shoulder and closed her eyes.

"Do you want more of me?" she asked, playful as ever, and Azaerys brushed her ear with his lips.

"Always, my Queen."

Her walls instinctively tightened around his hardness, and then she rocked her hips a little, which he soon grabbed and clawed.

Azaerys guided her movements, aiding them, and she just moaned into his ear, singing her song of carnal desire, igniting the fire in Elia's loins again.

She waited until her niece bathed in another spastic orgasm, and when Azaerys laid Arianne down, he kissed the older Princess, making her moan into his mouth.

He pressed her delightful softness beneath his weight, parted her legs wide apart, and then pierced into her, making her groan in pain and pleasure.

Gentleness seemed to have loosened its hold on him as he hammered against her cervix, forcing her to beg for mercy, pleading with him to slow down. He did not listen, and her body was ecstatic that he did not when she came undone.

His haunting purple eyes stared into her dark brown jewels, and she saw his gentleness and adoration there, which melted her completely.

An involuntary tear escaped the corner of her left eye, which he leaned down to sip, and then he rolled to the side with her, helping her rest on his chest.

Arianne, tired and spent as she was, wrapped her arm around the two of them, snuggling close, and the three quickly drifted off into a blissful sleep, wrapped in each other's warmth.

When Azaerys woke up in the late afternoon, he found the two ladies missing, but there was someone else in the room, sitting in his chair next to the fireplace.

"Lyanna." He softly called out to her when he saw how lost she looked, and hearing his call, her eyes welled up with tears.

"Az... They... Robert is dead. The Lannisters captured Ned, accusing him of treachery and siding with Stannis over Joffrey, who is the rightful heir..." she was having great difficulty saying those words. "Robb Stark has called the banners, the North is getting ready for war. Joffrey is holding Sansa and Arya as hostages..."

Lyanna stopped speaking and quickly rushed over to hand him the letter she had received in the afternoon.

The letters contained the events of the past sennight in Westeros, and he read them, unsurprised by any of it.

"Did you kill Robert?" she softly asked, afraid he would misunderstand her words, but he knew what she wanted to know.

"No. I had no hand in any of it." He raised his head and met her misty eyes.

"What do you want me to do?" he asked, and her tears slipped free.

"I... can you save Ned?"

"Yes, but do you think he would want any saving?" he asked, and she froze at his words.

Lyanna steeled her heart then, wiped away her tears, and bravely nodded to him.

"Should anything happen to Ned... can you promise me that you will save his daughters?" She looked at him with hope, knowing well that he could do what she wanted.

"Their lives will be in no danger. The Lannisters cannot afford to kill either of them."

"Az..."

"They will live through their plight. You have my promise."

"Thank you." She sincerely said and deeply bowed to him.

"Take off your clothes." Azaerys kept his eyes on her, and even though she was not in the mood and unwilling, she did not disobey his command.

However, before she divested herself of her clothes, she locked the door first.

Azaerys watched her patiently, waiting for her to come to him, and he did not move even as she climbed into the bed.

Lyanna knew exactly what he wanted as she climbed onto his lap, pulling the sheets away.

Her hand soon found his hard and throbbing manhood, and she guided it inside her warm confines with great difficulty, but without complaint.

As she lowered herself and took him in as far as she could, she leaned forward and hugged him, wrapping her legs around his waist.

The King wrapped his arms around her, squeezed her in his embrace, and held still for a while, allowing her to get a grip on her emotions.

It was not long before her body warmed up, and he inhaled her scent of femininity and leather, which he quite liked.

Soon, his arms loosened, his hands descended onto her ass, and he clawed at her fleshy cheeks, guiding her on his length.

He waited until she let out a moan, no longer fighting her emotions and denying the pleasure, and then he picked up the pace.

The way her walls tightened and squeezed around him made him grunt, and when she came undone, he pulled out and pushed her onto her elbows and knees, deciding to mount her from behind, the way she liked most.

For a good hour, Azaerys fucked her brains out, letting pleasure wash away the worries that had been eating at her, and then he bit her shoulder and came for the third and final time.

"Rest." He said to her as he covered her with the sheets, and she let sleep take hold of her.

The sky had darkened when he exited Arianne's chamber, bathed and dressed, and he walked down the echoing hallway, lost in his thoughts.

Subconsciously, he walked towards Rhaemon's room, just in time to see him rushing out, his face dark and steps heavy.

"Brother!"

Azaerys smiled at him, and his smile helped the young man, now five-and-ten, old enough to hold a lordship and lead armies.

"Rhaemon."

"Your Grace." Thiara, who had come rushing out of her room behind the young prince, quickly curtsied to him.

The King nodded to her and then glanced at the letter in her hand, which she quickly handed to him.

It was a letter from Alysanne Stark, Rhaemon's betrothed, and it mentioned that Robb Stark had asked Benjen to hold Winterfell in his absence.

Alysanne mentioned that her father was greatly disturbed, and that he wished to send her, her brother, and her mother away so that he could participate in the coming wars.

"What do you want to do, Rhaemon?"

"I..." The prince almost uttered his desire to go to Westeros, but stopped. "I want Alysanne, her brother, and mother to stay safe."

"I see." He turned to look at Thiara, who was waiting for his command. "Go and get your things ready. You will be leaving for Siren tomorrow, and from there you will head to Lys."

"Yes, Your Grace." The former Lengii Princess bowed to him and quickly walked past him to pass on the orders.

"Brother..."

"You are going to live in Lys. Go and visit your brother and congratulate him in person. See Lyrax, she had been restless. As for the Starks, you will meet them at your new home upon your arrival. Take your mother along with you, and all the men under her and your command. However, you must not interfere in what is happening in Westeros."

"Yes, Your Grace." The prince knelt before him, accepting his command, and at Azaerys' signal, he got up to leave.

"Rhaemon."

"Yes?"

"Be safe, and don't be impulsive."

"I won't." He promised. "I received Aegon's letter..."

Since his mood had improved, he was very excited about the news of Aegon's firstborn and also the twins who were on the way. He also knew that Thiara wanted to meet her niece, the little princess whom she had not yet seen.

Going to Siren was indeed something he had been yearning for, and now that he had the King's word that he would meet Alysanne at Lys, he was not worried in the least.

Azaerys chatted with his brother until Thiara returned with her retinue, who entered Rhaemon's chambers to make arrangements for the journey and their new home, which was a beautiful manse that Aegon had purchased earlier this year at the King's command.

By the time the King reached the throne room, the entire Pyramid knew about the young prince's travel plans.

Since Rhaenys was not there, everything was being handled by Laeha and Laena, and they had learned a lot over the years. The two spoke Valyrian very fluently now, and also understood the Common Tongue, which enabled them to no longer need assistance in communication.

Interestingly enough, both had decided to share responsibilities of their own accord. Laeha was in charge of all the external matters of the Summer Kingdom, and Laena was in charge of all the internal affairs.

He stayed silent and only listened and watched them rule, and when the last session of court ended for the day, he tasked the Captain of his Kingsguard with delivering a message to House Stark in White Harbour.

Lyanna happily agreed to Rhaemon's request to go with him and Thiara to Siren and then to Lys, and the she-wolf spent the entire night with Azaerys before she left on the morrow.

The King watched the fleet leave towards Lys and the hippogriffs and griffins depart eastward to the Shadowlands from atop the Pyramid of Pride, and he frowned at how restless he had suddenly started feeling.

At some point, the beautiful little Shadowbinder arrived by his side, and she stood there in silence, almost like his shadow.

"Her time approaches..." she whispered when he sighed, and he closed his eyes, finally understanding where the restlessness stemmed from. "There's a price for life."

Azaerys took a deep breath, exhaled, and steeled his heart.

"No." He refused her suggestion and raised his head, staring into the distance where the figures were disappearing.

"The mummer's dragon is gaining strength."

"I am aware." The King narrowed his eyes and turned to look westward. "You will leave for Siren in two moons."

"As you command, my lord." She acknowledged the order and then silently walked away.

The time had come, and he stayed gazing into the distance even as the sun reached its peak.

"Your Grace." He heard a soft whisper, and then Arianne had her arms wrapped around his. "What are you watching?"

A smile formed on Azaerys' lips, and he turned to look at his Martell Queen.

"Would you like to come with me to Westeros, to Dorne, my Queen?"

The question froze her. She searched for something in his eyes, but then a bright smile bloomed on her face.

"Yes!"

"We will leave for Westeros at the end of the year. Elia will come with us. Prepare to send Desmera and her ladies-in-waiting to Siren. Write to Aegon and tell him that he must not return to Dragonport."

"Yes." She quickly rushed inside the Pyramid, already brimming with excitement.

No one sensed the grief that was about to grip them, except for Daenerys, who had sent him a letter asking what was going on.

On the first day of the Tenth Moon, news reached Siren that Lord Eddard Stark of Westeros had been executed on the steps of the Great Sept of Baelor.

The next day, Lyanna wrote to Azaerys for the last time. She did not make any requests, but merely informed him that she missed him.

He wrote back to her, and one evening, he left for Siren with the winter roses he had prepared for her, bringing Elia and Arianne along.

Azaerys stayed with his family at their home of blessings, surrounded by his loved ones, and at the start of the last moon of the year, he said his goodbyes and left Quaithe behind.

On the first day of the last sennight, he received Daenerys' painful letter, where she informed him that Lyanna had passed away in her sleep.

By then, he was on the fleet heading to Westeros, and Elia, who read the letter over his shoulder, nearly fainted.

Arianne did not know what to say or think, and for the rest of their journey, there was only a painful and gnawing melancholy gripping them.

Nine dragonships, the trademark vessels of the Summer Kingdom, arrived at Sunspear at the end of the first moon of 299 AC, and Prince Doran and Prince Oberyn welcomed them with great enthusiasm.

At Dragonport, Rhaenys returned to oversee matters that Laeha and Laena were not responsible for, and Rhaemon, as he had promised Azaerys, left for Lys with Thiara and her daughter, grief-stricken, but determined to complete the tasks that his brother and older sister had assigned to him.
