Chapter 307 - Chapter 307: Class Video Call

[Third Person Pov]

Tony was in the middle of a video call with Momo and the rest of Class 1-A from U.A. High. Dozens of holographic projections hovered in front of him, each one displaying a familiar face—and every single one of them wore the same expression of shock, fear, or outright panic.

"Tony, we're really glad you're okay," Toru spoke up first, her voice trembling with relief. That single sentence seemed to open the floodgates.

Almost immediately, everyone began talking at once.

"Yeah, we're glad, but—are your parents seriously pulling you out of U.A.?" Mina shouted, her hands pressed to the sides of her head.

"They can't do that!" someone else yelled.

"Wait—so Melissa wasn't just messing with us this whole time?!" another voice cried out in disbelief.

Tony could only offer a weak, awkward smile as he watched the chaos unfold in front of him. Seeing his classmates panic over him made his expression twist. A few of them were even wiping away tears, their emotions laid bare in a way he hadn't expected.

"This is so unfair!" one student snapped. "Maybe we can talk to Principal Nezu and get him to change their minds!"

"What about All Might?" another added desperately. "He can do anything! Maybe he could convince them!"

Tony sighed quietly and shook his head. "I sincerely doubt it," he said. "They're being unusually stubborn about this."

"I mean… is it really that unusual?" Asui chimed in, her voice calm but weary. "You almost died. I can understand where they're coming from, ribbit."

"Tsu, how can you say something like that?!" Denki protested, looking genuinely heartbroken, as if he were mourning.

"No, Asui is correct," Iida said, adjusting his glasses as he leaned closer to the screen. "From a practical standpoint, it makes perfect sense. Given the circumstances, this is the most logical solution. However…" His voice trailed off, clearly conflicted.

"I say good riddance," Bakugo muttered casually.

He was sprawled back in his chair with one arm draped over the headrest, posture completely relaxed, not even bothering to look directly at the screen.

"Shut up, Bakugo!" Toru snapped, baring her teeth as if she could physically lunge through the projection.

"Evil bastard!"

"How could you even say something like that?!"

"You're seriously sick, man. A sick person!"

Bakugo snarled, grabbing the device projecting his image and violently shaking it. "I didn't even want to accept this stupid call! You idiots forced me! If you don't want me saying anything, then don't invite me!"

Tony couldn't help it—he let out a quiet chuckle as he watched the argument spiral further out of control. Despite the situation, the familiar chaos of his classmates felt oddly comforting.

That was when his eyes drifted toward Momo's projection.

She wasn't arguing. She wasn't even looking at the screen.

Instead, she appeared to be packing a small bag, carefully folding clothes and slipping items inside with deliberate precision before slinging it over her shoulder.

"Momo?" Tony asked, confusion clear in his voice. "What are you doing?"

She glanced at her wrist, speaking into a sleek watch communicator. "What do you think?" she replied calmly. "I'm packing a bag and heading to America."

"Eh?" Tony blinked, completely caught off guard.

Before he could ask another question, the call abruptly ended with a single tap from Momo.

Momo opened her bedroom window without hesitation and leapt out, her movements fluid and confident. Midair, she brought her feet together and used her Quirk to construct a sleek hoverboard from the soles of her feet.

Without a second thought, she took off.

She clutched her bag tightly with both hands as she soared away from the Yaoyorozu estate, never once looking back. With a flick of her wrist, her body shimmered and vanished from sight, turning invisible as she accelerated.

The wind roared past her ears, whipping her hair wildly behind her as she flew across the city in mere minutes.

Soon, Tony's home villa came into view.

Momo deactivated her invisibility, dissolved the hoverboard beneath her feet, and landed with a precise, calculated roll. Rising smoothly, she made her way inside.

"Friday, are you there?" she called out.

"Greetings, Ms. Yaoyorozu," Friday responded as the villa lights flickered on, illuminating the space. "How may I be of assistance?"

"Prepare the Quintet Jet," Momo said, her tone sharp and unwavering.

"Destination?" Friday asked politely.

Momo's expression hardened. "You know exactly where I want to go."

"Destination set: America," Friday replied cheerfully, a teasing lilt in its voice that sharply contrasted Momo's seriousness. "Please enjoy your flight."

"You know something, Tony… something's been bothering me," Denki said, leaning closer to the camera with his arms crossed and a narrowed look of suspicion. "I almost forgot about it with everything that's been happening, but—just what exactly is your relationship with Momo?"

The question seemed to flip a switch.

"Now that you mention it…" Sero chimed in, his voice light but mischievous as he grinned. "Didn't you two kiss at one point?"

"Huh? Wait, you guys still don't know?" Mina asked, eyes widening in genuine surprise.

"Know what?" Kirishima questioned, his brows knitting together as he glanced around at the others. That was when he noticed it—the girls all looked oddly calm, some even smug, while the boys looked completely lost.

"I'm honestly shocked you haven't figured it out by now," Toru said, shaking her head in disbelief. "Tony and Momo are dating. They're in an actual relationship."

The call went dead silent.

Every face froze in various stages of shock, confusion, or disbelief.

"But… he's clearly in a relationship with Melissa," Tokoyami said slowly, tilting his avian head as if reanalyzing an unsolvable riddle.

"He is," Mina replied simply.

Then, perfectly in sync, both Mina and Toru spoke at the same time.

"Tony is dating both of them."

"…"

A heavy, suffocating silence settled over the video call. No one said a word. Every single pair of eyes slowly shifted toward Tony's projection.

Tony, for his part, was looking down, shoulders shaking slightly. A shameless, shit-eating grin spread across his face as he struggled—and failed—not to laugh.

The fact that he wasn't denying it was all the confirmation they needed.

The call exploded.

"WHAAAAAT?!"

"Die, you bastard!"

"Your greed truly knows no bounds."

"You know what? I'm with Bakugo—good riddance to you!"

"Hope you never come back and stay over there, you animal!"

"Teach me your ways, master."

Tony blinked, completely baffled by the sudden verbal assault. "Why are you all coming after me?" he protested. "This wasn't even my idea! Momo and Melissa planned it together!"

"Look at him, bragging now."

"Some guys really do get all the luck."

"I can't even get one girlfriend, and you're out here with two?! This universe is unfair!"

"Huh?" Tony suddenly paused mid-complaint, turning his head toward the window as it slid open on its own.

A shimmer rippled through the air.

Momo undid her invisibility as she climbed through the frame with practiced ease.

"Momo?" Tony asked, stunned.

She didn't answer right away. Instead, she offered him a warm, genuine smile—one filled with relief—before rushing forward and throwing her arms around him in a tight embrace.

The call erupted again.

"Wha—For real?!"

"Did she really travel all the way to America?!"

"Barely ten minutes have passed!"

"Isn't that, like, a crime?!"

"I'm so alone…"

Without another word, Tony swiped his finger downward. The holographic projections flickered, then shut off one by one, leaving only black screens behind. On the other end of the call, the class sighed in perfect unison, as if they had rehearsed it.

Tony wrapped his arms around Momo, holding her close as she clung to him, her face resting against his shoulder, gently patted her back.
