The trail of roses didn't lie, and Andrew found Ellis and Richard in one of the more secluded bathrooms. The sounds of retching could be heard as soon as the door opened, along with Richard's voice, soft and worried, trying to comfort the other man.
"It's okay, Ellis. Get it all out." Richard was telling him. "I'm here." He was being supportive of his partner, and Andrew's heart squeezed. It was good of him to be here. He was glad that Richard didn't listen to Ellis when he no doubt told Richard to go back out and enjoy himself with others.
"Richard? Ellis?" Andrew called, not wanting to surprise the men. He was checking up on them, not scaring them. Ellis didn't stop throwing up, but the scrambling sound of Richard getting up and coming around the corner told Andrew all that he needed to know.
His face was pale, his eyes were big brown discs in his face.
"Andy? What are you doing here?" He asked and Andrew let out a dry laugh.
