When he woke up again, someone was patting his shoulder to wake him. He snapped out of his drowsy slumber, raised his head, and saw that almost everyone in the classroom had left, except for Zhang Danlin standing behind him. It was she who had gently patted his shoulder to wake him up.
He was stunned for a second or two. He had stayed up too late the previous night and was severely sleep-deprived. Not fully awake yet, he looked at Zhang Danlin and gathered his thoughts.
"Uh... shall we go?" Zhang Danlin said to Hao Jian.
Hao Jian finally came to his senses, remembering that he had promised Zhang Danlin to accompany her to the bank to deposit money. He stood up quickly and said, "Let's go."
"Okay!" Zhang Danlin nodded, looking delighted.
