The old man in front of them was named Chen Liu, technically a member of Chen Jie's family, a generation older than her father Chen Lin. So technically, Chen Jie should call him grandfather.
However, they weren't closely related by blood, and since Chen Liu had a child-like temperament, Chen Jie wasn't too concerned about how she addressed him.
"Oh, I see."
Chen Liu's face appeared somewhat disappointed. He then turned to Lin Chen and asked, "What's your name?"
"Lin Chen."
After Lin Chen spoke, Chen Liu flicked his hand. A wooden tag from the table on his right side flew out and floated in front of him.
His hand moved in the air like a carving knife, etching strange symbols onto the wooden tag.
In just a few moments, Chen Liu withdrew his Qi Force, extending his palm, and the tag floated into it.
