As the tip of his foot touched the water surface, a strange phenomenon occurred. The rushing river seemed to be afraid of Ye Qing. When his foot descended, the water quickly dispersed, creating an empty space just enough for Ye Qing's foot to land upon.
"Huh?" Yelu Ying, who observed the situation beside him, was greatly surprised and curiously asked, "Ye, what's happening here?"
As he spoke, Yelu Ying himself extended his foot towards the rushing river beside him.
"No!" Ye Qing exclaimed, but it was ultimately too late, Yelu Ying's foot had already stepped down.
However, the situation when Yelu Ying's foot landed was completely different from Ye Qing's. When her foot went down, the rushing river did not retreat; more critically, there was no solid ground beneath the water, and her step went directly into the void.
"Ah!" Yelu Ying cried out, losing her balance and tilting towards the rushing river, about to fall in.
