"What happened?" Liu Chen came in from outside, and upon hearing Ma Yizhu's voice wasn't particularly urgent, he knew it must be something trivial.
Upon entering, he discovered that the candles in the candelabra had burned out.
"What should we do?" Ma Yizhu sighed and asked.
But Liu Chen's focus was elsewhere, asking, "Hmm, why is there a strange smell in the room? Did some wild cat sneak in and poop or pee?"
Ma Yizhu's face turned red upon hearing this, but fortunately, it was dark, so her expression couldn't be clearly seen.
So Ma Yizhu defensively said, "I didn't smell anything; you must be mistaken."
Mistaken or not, Liu Chen thought for a moment and said that it seemed he needed to repair the house's electrical circuit. Saying this, he used his phone for light and actually went to fix the circuit.
Ma Yizhu was speechless; could Liu Chen really repair circuits? If he could, why didn't he fix it before?
