The shock on Nyrela's face made her mother laugh.
Learning that Rhazor was, or might be, the Star Monarch—the one whom every beast had rushed to join several years ago despite being a paragon—was simply mind-bending.
Clearly, she had no idea she had just met the Paragon and had even dared challenge him for something of great value. If the paragon was as he was portrayed, then she had just jumped the gun.
Even more shocking was the fact that the Paragon knew her mother, and judging by the smile on the Genesis Flame Queen's face, she didn't hate the Paragon as most people did.
That was shocking enough, but to think the Paragon had come close to becoming her father. That alone caused her to blank out for a few minutes before regaining her senses.
"Relax, dear. You tried your best, but against a Paragon, losing is normal," she said, cupping Nyrela's cheeks and smiling.
"How are you not angry right now, Mother?" Nyrela asked, her brow furrowed.
