Missing Klaus, despite there being no connection in the past, was a bit weird. But love at first sight is a thing, and Ember had most certainly been infected by it.
Her inner obsession with the Paragon had, in the past, left her disturbed for a very long time.
So now that Klaus was right by her side, she didn't want to regret anything again. Even if he were to leave a few days from now and never return, she wanted to be able to say she was okay, for she had managed to spend some quality time with him.
But she knew that would never happen. Klaus would never leave her side, not when her daughter turned out to be someone very close to him and, from his own words, extremely important.
So she planned to spend all her time with him.
Seeing her cuddled in his arms, Klaus could only smile and shake his head.
