Chapter 1 - The First Finger

Kazuma was not the type of person to be pessimistic. However, in this current situation, he was more than rightful to feel cynical. He was never the type of person who felt permanent negative emotions towards someone. Instead, Kazuma just felt hatred in between small moments.

If he could explain it better, it was as if he had anger issues, but not really. Hold the negative emotions and later complain to someone else.

Kazuma was not the type of person who held resentment inside of him. But in this situation, he was holding it and honing it. The anger, hatred, and just the feeling of unfairness that his old world and new world gave him drove him to the edge of insanity.

Kazuma knew that his way of life came from his actions. Being the person who always sought to adapt to everything he did wrong, he thought that in this world, he could change his way of thinking. It was starting to happen, but as things began to wrap around each other, Kazuma found himself not caring.

He knew that his relationship with Aqua was starting to falter. It was not like they were lovers, but their friendship was starting to get dirty. Of course, it was a one-sided thought. Aqua, always ignorant of his feelings and plans, just did whatever she wanted to satisfy her needs, and acted like normal.

Contrary to Aqua's beliefs, Kazuma actually didn't care to give Aqua a vast majority of his money to satisfy her. Still, he would rather die than say that out loud.

However, even if Kazuma wanted to give a part of his money to satisfy Aqua's needs because he actually felt bad about making her come down to the mortal realm with him, he still didn't do it. Aqua was much like a deadweight; she would always be on his back rather than becoming someone he could trust to help him achieve a goal faster.

Instead, the Goddess would just let him do all the work, and when things didn't go as planned, she would put all the blame on him. The other two useless girls of his team would side with Aqua because they knew their weaknesses were weaknesses against them when he was mad.

His philosophy of gender equality really did play a big part in those occasions. Why? He didn't care if Darkness or Megumin had problems of their own; he would use them against them to emphasize that they didn't help either. Everything he planned to keep them alive sometimes would go to hell due to their antics.

If Kazuma was honest, he really didn't fear the monsters of this world. Instead, he feared the dumb decisions his group would make and that, later, it would affect him. He feared getting killed by his own teammate's antics.

But outside of every problem he had with Aqua, Kazuma was starting to get tired of her actions. Kazuma figured out why Aqua was kicked out of heaven. The reason why Aqua got betrayed by her own kind was because the gods got tired of her antics, too. It was because Aqua always wanted more from people but NEVER gave something in return to compensate for the hard work done.

Megumin and Darkness were not a more significant problem than Aqua, but they were still a problem. Of course, he was talking about the lack of versatility that Megumin didn't add to the team and the only significant trait that Darkness could add to the table: Her defense.

His team was filled with, ironically, strong individuals. Darkness's body was more substantial than most other adventures, and she could almost literally tank any attack sent her way. Megumin, on the other hand, had the firepower that most other archmages would love to have. She was ALMOST a walking nuke. She could be the strongest member of their group if she cared to learn different types of magic.

But no! The girl was obsessed with explosion magic so bad that she would even ignore magics from the same family detonation, saying that they didn't come close to the beauty of an explosion. Kazuma was somehow glad that the girl didn't know about nuclear bombs or hydrogen bombs. However, he was not angry about that simple fact. He was mad about the fact that they just left him for dead.

Recently, they took the liberty of taking on another mission. While their team had recently been formed, they were getting along quite well, to the point that they were starting to see each other like family—or so he thought.

Everything started when I met that pretty boy who calls himself a hero: Kyouya Mitsurugi. The young man was obsessed with Aqua, thinking that Aqua was a very responsible goddess and that the words that she gave to every person she reincarnated were only meant for him.

It started when I noticed that Aqua was on his team. The stupidity of this world stuck to the man because he began to say that HE had no right to have Aqua in those living conditions. He really didn't care about the situation. However, Aqua did care about it, and upon seeing that someone DID believe her antics, she started to get closer to the boy.

Aqua is the face of the group and the person who also has a better closeness to everyone. She started to get everyone from his team to slowly but surely want to join Mitsurugi. Of course, he felt jealous. While Kazuma had no romantic feelings for any of the girls on his team, he felt jealous because his entire team decided to leave him.

Kazuma was quite thankful that his team didn't leave him right away and, instead, just started reducing the times they would come together to do missions. It was only now that he saw how deep the rabbit hole really was. After he suffered a lethal injury during the mission, losing his arm and bleeding heavily, he noticed that his team no longer cared about him.

They never actually cared that he was heavily injured. It was because Aqua could revive him, but this time, Aqua didn't seem to want to heal him. They thought he was no longer necessary to them and just left him to die. His biggest fear of this world had just happened. He was left to die alone due to the stupidity of his teammates.

Kazuma gritted his teeth. He was not going to die! HE REFUSED TO DIE! He felt angry beyond anything he had ever thought, and maybe that anger was what kept him alive. Kazuma refused to give up, refused to let his dreams for this world go to waste, and refused to be seen as someone who died because he was no longer necessary.

Kazuma refused to be a stepping stone for someone else to climb into greatness. Kazuma was no god, but he felt as if he had become a fallen god. It was as if he was the Honored One who was going to bring the world into peace. Still, now, he had fallen into the abyss and later became the one to bear the title of the CURSED ONE—a person who was going to bring the world into nothing more than darkness.

"I FUCKING HATE THIS WORLD"

Between gritted teeth, Kazuma Satou was only able to speak as he felt his world become dark. The anger, anxiety, hatred, and insanity that ran through his veins and mind were not comparable to anything. Even the Demon King, whom everyone wanted to kill to set the world free, could only be equivalent to a puppy next to his immense rage.

[Analyzing requirements. Requirements met. Initiating changes.]

Kazuma wanted to blink many times as he heard that voice inside his head. Yet, the anger and the willpower he was putting into staying alive didn't allow him to really pay attention to it. Instead of letting himself lie down on the floor, he put all of his willpower into standing up.

The pain was unbearable, so unbearable that tears started to form around his green eyes. Kazuma didn't know if the adrenaline or the anger he was feeling was the one that was beginning to subdue the pain he was feeling. The tears started to blur his vision, and the only thing he could tell about himself from this point of view was his apparent flaws.

Kazuma was powerless in his old world, but even though this world is filled with magic and many doors to explore, he is still helpless. Just like he was now, he was trapped in a world filled with people capable of leveling entire mountains with a single magic spell and maybe creatures strong enough to do the same with their physical and magical powers.

He felt like a failure, a disappointment, and unworthy of the second chance in life he was given. Even if the person who gave him a second chance in life was nothing more than a useless girl, Kazuma still felt unworthy.

"If I only I hadn't come to this world... No, if only these fake gods didn't fucking exist!"

His anger, from his perspective, was more than justified. Ever since he got to this world, Aqua was nothing more than a nuisance. And the two deadweights that dared to call themselves his teammates were even worse than the useless Goddess. And he cursed them.

Kazuma had sacrificed everything, even hours of sleep and sanity, to keep the team alive. He tried to analyze each member's weaknesses and strengths and later combined them to make plans for any situation. Yet, they left him here for dead.

His green eyes slowly started to close down on each other, and the darkness of the world completely engulfed him. It was as if the concept of fear itself swallowed him. He didn't know if he was suffocating by the blood that came out of his mouth or if the suffocating, heavy, ominous pressure that came out of nowhere was the one choking him.

His green eyes stared at nothing. Everything around him was pitch black, so he saw nothing. However, while he could not see anything, his other senses could feel everything. And what he felt was something he would never wish upon his greatest foe.

Kazuma could hear the pain, taste the pain, touch the pain, and even smell it. He could feel it everywhere. The best way to describe it is this way. Kazuma felt as if his body was being destroyed and later rebuilt a thousand times. This had to be one of the cruelest ways to die.

Yet, everything stopped.

[Utilizing Reverse Curse Technique to heal the damage.]

Kazuma, out of nowhere, started to hear his heartbeat loud and clear; it felt like the world itself had come to a halt.

The sudden surge of energy that came from the pits of his stomach made every cell in his body vibrate with power. It was like he was being fed power, and every cell of his body was eating said energy to empower him. His body felt stronger than it had ever been; every minor wound that ached, and even the big ones, healed in an instant, leaving not even a scar.

His vision widened, and he could now see more precisely than he had ever had. Yet, some letters floated above him. Still drenched in blood, his blood... Kazuma opened his eyes, and his eyes showed power.

"Kill points: 0/100"

.... .... ....

Kazuma groaned in pain as he woke up. He thought he was going to be looking at another god by now, sitting in front of them as they did nothing more than laugh at him. Laughing that his old and new life was nothing more than just a joke and that he was technically "betrayed."

Fortunately, he didn't have to sit in front of another god and later get laughed at. Instead, he woke up in what seemed to be a bed. When his sense of security kicked again, he immediately jumped from the bed. He started to look for something to defend himself.

But when he landed on his feet, his confusion was literally piqued. Since when was he this tall? He had always been on the shorter side of the spectrum. Well, if he could say something about it, he honestly was between the average height of his country.

He was not European or American. Americans and Europeans are known to be quite tall, varying from his current height of 5'5 feet, or 167 centimeters, to the tallest people he had ever seen, like Shaquille O'Neal, who was about 7'1 feet tall, or 216 centimeters tall.

However, he looked at himself and if he did the correct calculations, he was looking like someone who was 6'3 feet tall, or 192 centimeters tall. In fact, he looked different. If he had said that he was Kazuma Satou, no one would actually believe him.

He looked nothing like Kazuma Satou.

I am now a man with an intense, defined look. Because of my mysterious aura and handsome face, you'd notice me even in a crowd. My hair is black, cut short and slicked back, kept neat without much effort—it stays in place no matter what I'm doing. My now face has sharp angles, with a jawline that's as hard as it looks. My cheekbones are high, and my nose is straight, giving me a serious, almost severe expression.

My eyes are weird. They are deep-set and intense; they don't reveal much, but they take in everything. Black sclera and white pupils; most would be terrified to even look at my eyes. There's a certain sharpness to them, something that makes people think twice before holding my gaze.

But the most significant change outside of my new face and height is my body. My build is muscular but not overly bulky—it's more about strength, flexibility, speed, and precision than sheer size. Broad shoulders taper down to a well-defined chest and abdomen. My skin is silk white smooth.

I knew this appearance, or I did. It had a striking resemblance to the character I had on the tip of my tongue. Still, it also resembled another character from the same show. My eyes widened. I looked more like Jonggun Park from Lookism but had more resemblance to the second body of Daniel Park.

Yet, I had to ignore my thoughts when, out of nowhere, a blue semi-transparent screen appeared in front of me. Is this what I think it is? Is this a gamer system?

Looking at the screen that appeared out of nowhere, my mind and eyes tried to analyze what was going on there. I could remember the world of pain that I went through and how, out of nowhere, all of my pain left me when some words that I don't remember sounded inside my mind.

Kill Points: 0/100

Narrowing my eyes at the screen, I asked myself what this actually meant. I am not stupid, and if you think otherwise, fuck you...

I know that this screen is indirectly telling me that I have to kill, but that isn't my real question. My real question is: What do I have to kill to gain points?"

Monsters, or humans?

Sitting down on the bed that was clearly not his, I started to experiment with the system. It surprised me. But I still didn't know what this was supposed to be.

"System, explain."

I tried to activate the system by placing a command to it. I did this because I needed to learn how to access the system's explanation by myself. When I thought the system was going to leave me hanging with nothing more than questions, the system responded to my command.

[Welcome, Kazuma Satou, also known as the 'Player.' You met the requirements to activate this system, which will help you grow to be the strongest in this world.]

This monotone cold voice that literally had no emotions responded to my initial command. My eyes widened.

Shit, is this real? Why now? Ugh, I had so many questions. I will probably ask one at a time, or if not, I will ask later.

"Tell me, system. How does this whole system work? What happened to me? What does the 'Kill Point' system mean? And on what basis this system is based?"

The system must know that I'm from a parallel world to this one—Japan, to be more exact. So, if he knows that information, he also must know that there are multiple game systems from different games in my world from which he could draw inspiration.

The system was looking for an optimal answer to my question because it kept me waiting for at least two minutes. I was starting to become annoyed. How the fuck do you expect me to wait for an answer? This answer could change my life.

When I was going to become insane from the waiting, and almost about to lie my back against the bed and later close my eyes, the system decided he wanted to answer.

[Dear player. It is quite simple.

The more you kill, the more points you shall receive.

The stronger your opponents are, the higher points you shall receive.

After fulfilling each criterion, you can earn one of Sukuna's fingers!

On the verge of death, you, the player, met the requirements necessary to activate the system. Your strong will to live and overwhelming negative emotions reach the criteria for activating the altered Ryomen Sukuna template.

What happened to you was the result of changing your body to meet the template of your character.

Using the combined appearance of Jonggun Park and Daniel Park from the Manhwa of Lookism-- a Manwha you loved very much, to later mix it with the hypothetical strongest version of Ryomen Sukuna from the Manga of Jujutsu Kaisen, I created your current body.

Your body is perfect—like the body of a video game character. For a more fictional explanation, your body is very similar to Daniel Park's perfect body. Everything is to be at the maximum capacity of a human, yet you are no longer human. You are a half curse half human

Much similar to JongGun Park and Daniel Park from the Manwha of Lookism, you have what is known as Ultra Instinct. It is always activated, thus the explanation for your black sclera and white pupils' eyes.

Do not compare it to the Ultra Instinct of Son Goku from the Anime and Manga of Dragon Ball. It is not the same. When you are in the Ultra Instinct state, you're entirely focused on the fight, fighting efficiently by adjusting to your opponent's combat power.

There are two types of Ultra Instinct known as of now.

The first type of Ultra Instinct is very complex to explain. Taking the initial idea of the Ultra Instinct, where you are efficiently adjusting to your opponent's combat power, but adding in the idea where you are fighting like a beast. A raging wild beast that, with its beastly instincts and overwhelming strength, destroys everything on its path.

The other known type of Ultra Instinct is where you are fighting like perfection. To be more precise, it is more like a cold-headed machine where you are using sophisticated techniques to maximize your efficiency, much like the perfect weapon.

The first type of Ultra Instinct is the type that JongGun Park has, and the more sophisticated one is the type that Daniel Park has. By combining the two, you will gain a different Ultra Instinct that you will have to learn on your own.

The main topic. The template that was chosen was a hypothetical stronger version of Sukuna: a fully healed Full Form Sukuna with Blood manipulation, the Ten-Shadows technique, Mimicry, and the Six Eyes of Gojo Satoru.

Being an altered version of Ryomen Sukuna, you, the player, have titles that have certain buffs to your quest to become the strongest.

Good luck, player!]

Kazuma was surprised as the system told him everything he needed to know and more than what he needed to know at the time.

So, he was supposed to be an altered version of Ryomen Sukuna? He looked like Jonngun but with the perfect features of Daniel, but he feel more like Ryomen Sukuna. .

Why does he say that? If he remembered correctly, before he came to this world, the Manhwa of Lookism and the Manga of Jujutsu Kaisen were at a high peak. Sukuna was running a gauntlet against everyone, and Jonggun was doing the same.

Apparently, the author of Lookism, PTJ, liked Jujutsu Kaisen very much, so he almost made Jonggun like Sukuna. No, they are the same character, but in a different universe, so this appearance makes sense.

Kazuma sighed. With his doubts pushed to the back of his mind, he finally started to think about his current situation. After his calculations, the surprising result was that he had not been betrayed. The three stupid ladies were not cruel, nor were they the type of person to eat your entire arm when you were only giving them a hand.

This meant that they thought he was going to be okay with those injuries. To be fair, he had died like ten times already. Aqua had healed him out of worse injuries before. However, those injuries didn't make him suffer and; instead just killed him immediately.

However, he was left to die. And that fueled his anger and negative emotions, which, in turn, empowered his curse energy.

Looking down at his now toned body, he saw that he was naked, and only a towel tightly wrapped around his waist was able to hide his member. Not wanting to have to talk to someone about his situation, he quickly stood up and walked towards the closet inside the room where he was staying.

He found many types of clothes. However, none of them were to his liking. There was a pair of clothes that he liked, and they matched his current look very well. Jonggun Park was known to dress in a certain style, and now that he looked more like a fusion of Daniel Park and Jonngun Park, he decided to wear it.

The upper part of the outfit he picked was a mix of professionalism and casual. The shirt that he found was a simple white shirt that fitted like a glove. It matched his muscular build but not overly bulky body. Broad shoulders taper down to a well-defined chest and abdomen.

His body is very masculine, yet it is the equivalent of an hourglass figure that females have. Why does he think this way? His waist.

His waist is notably compacted, accentuating the strong V-shape of his upper body. Despite his muscular build, his form is sleek, and it gives the impression of an almost hourglass-like figure, but in a distinctly masculine way.

His torso tapers sharply from his broad shoulders and defined chest down to a narrow, well-sculpted waist, creating a contrast that emphasizes both his strength and agility. The compactness gives him a streamlined, powerful appearance that is both striking and uncommon in most men.

Grabbing his pants, which were a pair of black suit pants, he quickly put them on. His shoes were a pair of black loafers. Grabbing his sword and the rest of his things, he at least left enough money to thank the person who helped him.

Opening the window, he jumped from the window towards the roof of the other building. When he landed, he made sure not to make a sound so no one would notice him leaving.

Jumping from one building to another felt quite right. Kazuma felt like Naruto doing that. He froze in his place. In the world of Naruto, Ninjas use their internal energy, known as Chakra, to attach themselves to surfaces like wood, concrete, and even liquid surfaces like water.

Why couldn't he replicate that method? He had an idea, and being the curious cat that he was now, he decided to make an experiment to test his theory.

Before the idea, he noticed something amazing. His strangely low mana reserves were now one hundred million times higher than before. He also noticed that his mana was different; it was much darker. But it was not entirely mana, but it functioned as mana. There, he saw it. It was that his mana had now fused with his obtained cursed energy.

After jumping away from the main city, he tried to make his theory work, and when it worked, he was happy. He could now walk on concrete walls, trees, and even water.

His little experiment had distracted him from his initial train of thought. It was clear that he was in the city of Axel, the only city he had been to. He could recognize the buildings and even some people. It was obvious that he was now alone in this world, and if he was going to be alone, he needed to make the best of it.

From the perspective of a normal human, Axel is a cheerful city. Still, from my unique eyes, I can see and taste the curse energy. Everyone here exudes curse energy, and the concentration is enough to create a special-grade curse spirit. However, there is no sign of cursed spirits.

It means... oh boy. It meant that an infinite amount of curse energy was his for the taking.

Yet, seeing the city from even another perspective, this view of the city of Axel shattered everything he had ever thought of Axel. The people were in fear--fear that one day, the adventurers would not be strong enough to defend them against the forces of the demon king and that their entire town was going to be destroyed.

So... pathetic. He sighed.

Reaching his destination, he entered the guild. Of course, his change of appearance clearly made him a target for the many gazes of the guild. Ignoring the gazes and walking straight to the admission desk, I saw Luna, the beautiful lady at the admission desk.

She smiled at me and said she was going to greet me with a long speech.

"Good afternoon, gentleman. How can I help you with?"

I looked at her. My black sclera and white pupils gave me such a menacing aura, and many adventurers were getting ready to attack me if I tried to do anything funny against Ms. Luna.

I sighed.

"You won't believe me, Luna... But it is me... Satou Kazuma. Here. Here is my adventurer's card."

Luna's eyes widened as she looked at me. Later, she looked at the card that I gave her, which was my personal adventurer's card. My words also made many adventurers gasp.

It is not normal for someone you know to change his look, voice, and aura out of nowhere. It was even more surprising that it had only been one day since the whole group left. The mission assigned to Kazuma's team was supposed to last for days.

"A-are you sure that you are Satou Kazuma?"

Instead of being surprised, Luna looked dead serious as she looked at Kazuma's scary eyes. However, Kazuma didn't shrink under Luna's gaze. He was raising his hands in submission to the matter.

"I am positive. If you don't believe me, you can do a magic test right here right now so everyone can see."

Luna nodded. It was the only way to really prove the innocence of Kazuma Satou and also his identity. Bringing the same artifact that created his adventurer's card, Luna told Kazuma, under the gaze of many adventurers, to hover his hand over the blue crystal.

As the crystal started to write down the information about Kazuma into a new card, Luna grabbed it to start reading later after it was done.

The results were anticipated if the ready adventurers on stand-by to attack the imposter of Kazuma Satou said something about it. The magic exam concluded that the firm of mana that came from the original Kazuma Satou and this new Kazuma Satou are the same. They also share the same class, same name, and same number of kills.

This meant that this person was the real Satou Kazuma.

After the guild calmed down, almost everyone wanted to hear about the new changes of Kazuma. Kazuma told the guild that he and his team were having some problems and that, on their last quest, their discussion had led to his departure from the group.

After he had left the group, he was left wandering around, and a horde of really strong monsters came down on him. He was dying, but his will to live and to obtain great power led him to awaken a very strong energy. This same power caused his appearance to change so his body could contain it.

It was a half-truth, but they didn't need to know the entire truth. They just needed to know about his positive changes.

After everything was said and done, he decided to eat something and rent a room. All jokes aside, he found out that renting a room for himself was way cheaper than renting a room with Aqua. It seems Luna felt sympathy for him, which angered him, but later, he thanked her for finding him a very cheap room to rent.

Making a loud sigh sound before lying down on the bed of the room he rented, Kazuma gripped his hand in front of his now handsome face and later sighed. There is no need to think about things right now; he needs to sleep and start looking for things he can do tomorrow. And start killing whatever he needs to kill to get more power.
