"Mrs. Xia, long time no see, how have you been?" When Xia Zhiqiu entered, Guan Li eagerly approached her. "You haven't been visiting, and we didn't want to disturb your life."
"I'm doing well." Xia Zhiqiu wasn't particularly interested in socializing, but when Xia Lu invited her to the Ye Family's New Year celebration, she agreed without hesitation. Opportunities for family gatherings were rare, and she hoped Xia Lu would be happy.
"Next month we're going on vacation to Australia, where the season is opposite to here, it's summer there, and the weather is wonderful. Why not come with us?"
Xia Zhiqiu couldn't tell if the invitation was genuine or merely for show, so she was hesitant to accept.
