"Mr. Zhou, something's happened," the secretary said as she pushed open the office door and addressed Zhou Jingxian.
He quickly walked to the meeting room, where he saw Zhang Jiunian sitting inside, surrounded by several strangers he had never seen before.
"What's going on here?"
Before those people could speak, Zhang Jiunian pulled him aside and said to them, "This is Mr. Zhou, the president of Hongli Group. Let me speak to him alone for a moment." With that, he guided Zhou Jingxian out of the meeting room.
"Who are those people inside? What are they doing at Hongli?"
"Calm down, alright?" Zhang Jiunian waved his hand, trying to pacify him, "They're not anyone special, just here to learn about some situations. There's no need to make a fuss."
"Aren't they from the prosecutor's office?" Zhou Jingxian found Zhang Jiunian's calm demeanor hard to believe. A private company attracting the attention of the prosecutor's office certainly wasn't an ordinary matter.
