Back then, because Xu Zhihao was about to get a job as an accountant at the supply and marketing cooperative, she and her mother-in-law Liu Sanmei discussed it and decided to split off Xu Qinghe's family. Later on, any benefits Xu Zhihao got wouldn't go to them!
Xu Zhihao's father-in-law originally wanted him to be the accountant, but who would've known something would go wrong in the middle, and Xu Zhihao didn't manage to get the accountant job after all. All that hope came to nothing.
So, today Xu Zhihao came home. Though he didn't become an accountant, he still got into the supply and marketing cooperative. For now, the salary is only thirty yuan, but later on, there'll be a lot more places needing money. That's why Liu Sanmei thinks it's better to let Xu Qinghe's family come back home now.
