"Professor Fei?" Xu Nianhua asked uncertainly.
"Nope."
Su Xi shook her head. "Guess again."
Xu Nianhua: "Then, is it your dad?"
Su Xi: "..."
Although her dad always dealt with foreigners, it didn't mean he had some kind of amazing talent. Forget it, she figured she'd better stop letting Xu Nianhua guess. She cleared her throat and said, "The first one is my aunt."
This was the first time Su Xi mentioned her aunt. She looked completely awestruck and said, "Whenever my aunt learns a language, she gets it really fast. She already speaks four languages now – and that's after only learning four. She picked up each one super quickly."
"According to my mom, she's got a really big talent for languages," Su Xi added. Sure, plenty of people can speak English and French, but everyone puts in a lot of effort.
But at the same time, people like Xu Nianhua, who are naturally gifted with languages, just learn them a lot faster than others.
"So your aunt's a diplomat?" Xu Nianhua asked.
