"Twisted my ankle." Xu Nianhua saw everyone gathering around, so she explained, "I just didn't walk properly when I was walking just now."
"Should we get it checked out?" Fei Jiayi stared at her foot, which looked pretty red and swollen.
"Nah, I'll just rub some medicated oil back at the dorm, it's not a big deal." Xu Nianhua said casually, then switched topics: "I'm so hungry! What's for lunch in the cafeteria today?"
"Sweet and sour ribs, fried tofu, and bok choy." Fei Jiayi supported Xu Nianhua as they walked.
Chang Hui took the initiative to go line up, getting food for Xu Nianhua.
Ding Guo helped put Xu Nianhua's books aside and even asked specially, "Nianhua, they've got seaweed soup today, want some?"
"Yeah, thanks!"
Looking at her busy roommates, Xu Nianhua felt strangely touched. Having these friends was really such a stroke of luck—if she'd been stuck with annoying roommates, that would've been so much worse.
