As April rolled around and spring flowers bloomed, people's clothes started gradually changing from thick to thin.
That day, some good news came from Gaoliang County.
"Mom, did my sister-in-law just have another son?" Xu Nianhua asked happily, "Congratulations, Mom, you've got another grandson! But, is my big brother a bit unhappy?"
You know, ever since my sister-in-law found out she was pregnant, my brother and sister-in-law had been hoping for a daughter.
They even bought a bunch of little skirts and pink baby clothes, but now that daughter has turned into a son, they're probably disappointed.
"As if he'd dare be unhappy." Ji Ying laughed, scolding, "He says he's not happy, but deep down, he couldn't be more worried about your sister-in-law."
"Mom, since he's fussing over her, at least no one's going to fight you for your grandson!" Xu Nianhua joked, and all the way until she hung up the phone, the smile on her lips never faded.
