You have to admit, in Game 4 of the series the Lakers played really well. Sasha Vujacic was on fire today, hitting consecutive shots from beyond the three-point line.

Phil Jackson didn't plan to freeze James outright but also didn't want to make Kobe angry, so he relegated him to a substitute.
He hoped James and Kobe could make an impact during rotation time.
This was his last chance for redemption. If he performed well as a substitute, Phil Jackson would gradually increase his playing time, believing that Kobe wouldn't say much then.
However, the guy who kept saying he'd take it game by game and work double-time had no action whatsoever coming off the bench.
