"It's calculative power, Mr. Knight." Miss Tata's voice was still gentle.
Fang Hong understood in his heart.
Or rather, the moment he opened the Artisan System to inspect the Fire Giant in his hand, he comprehended everything completely.
In that vision, the world that should have been filled with flashing starlight was now empty and void—he couldn't see the connections between elements, nor locate the structural points of matter. It seemed there was only emptiness and boundless darkness.
He seemed to see the end of time and the scene of the world's apocalypse.
