Terraqueous extended nightmare-like tentacles from beneath its feathers, reaching towards each knight. Controlled by Gita, it spread its wings, and the encroaching shadows surged like a tide. Its seven eyes stood atop its head, resembling blood lights in the shadows, reflecting the gaze of everyone present.
However, its attack inadvertently revealed an anomaly to the knights. The knight caught by the tentacles struggled fiercely and managed to break free from the shadows' grip. The commander, trembling, saw this scene, his eyes flashing with disbelief. He scrambled up from the ground, grabbed a sword, and slashed at a tentacle reaching towards him.
He was merely testing, yet the shadow tentacle broke with the slash, leaving the commander standing in stunned silence. The scene on the street was chaotic, almost every knight was fighting desperately, which perhaps Gita failed to notice this subtle detail.
