It was their first time in the U.S.-Canada District, so they found it quite novel.
Unlike the Capital District with mostly yellow-skinned people and the Golden Eagle District with mostly white-skinned people, the U.S.-Canada District gave a feeling of a great integration of races.
The city's infrastructure here is slightly better than in the Capital, and the commerce is even more prosperous.
However, beneath the prosperous surface, the U.S.-Canada District has deeply hidden social conflicts, something evident to anyone who has lived here.
Before being unified by the Federation, the U.S.-Canada District was in a state of hostility among different races. After being subdued by the Federation's military force, the races superficially coexisted peacefully.
