Chapter 46 - Button Rewards

Luke directed his full attention to the gleaming Clicker button, the interface almost humming with a strange, almost sentient energy. His hand hovered over it for a moment, anticipation curling in his chest like a live wire.

"Iron Button?" Then, with a decisive motion, he clicked the button once.

A cascade of system messages immediately lit up the display:

[Button Upgrade]

[Issuing Rewards...]

[ Button Upgrade ]

"Huuuuhh?!" Luke exclaimed, eyes widening with a mixture of disbelief and excitement, the corners of his lips twitching upward in an involuntary grin. The air around him seemed to pulse faintly as the system processed the rewards, an invisible current brushing against his senses.

[Rewards Being Issued]

[Congratulations]

[Gained Magical Technique Art, Technique skill 'Raigeki']

[Gained 100 Points in all stats]

[Gained Upgraded Mini World, Level 2]

Luke leaned back slightly, his grin broadening. "Interesting," he muttered to himself, his voice carrying that subtle thrill of someone who has just shocked.

A small drool formed at the corner of his mouth, betraying his sheer excitement. "Hehe," he said quietly, his mind already racing. With a decisive flick of his fingers, he commanded the system, "Show all item descriptions."

[Magical Technique Art - Raigeki]A technique that uses the user's Mana/Spirit as the driving force, allowing the user to manipulate lightning as a coating.

[Upgraded Mini World]The user now possesses the Level 2 version of the infinite miniworld. Time inside can be increased or decreased by 12x. Be cautious, as the miniworld has begun to evolve, and specters have formed within.

Luke's eyes sparkled with both excitement and calculation. "These rewards may seem insignificant for now," he whispered to himself, "but they will go a long way."

He didn't hesitate. "Show the Limitless Miniworld overall," Luke commanded, and the system obliged with a flourish of data streaming across his view.

[LIMITLESS MINIWORLD]Storage that holds everything, including system rewards. Living things grow 12x faster, while time can be increased or decreased by 12x. Specters have begun to form within.

[Congratulations]

[Your Attributes have crossed a specific threshold]

[You have now ascended to 'Master Rank']

Luke's eyes widened slightly, though a calm, calculating smile appeared. "Just my attributes alone have brought me to Master rank," he murmured. A sense of both pride and caution settled over him.

He began analyzing the knightly hierarchy of this world in his mind. If I'm not mistaken, the Knightly Ranks of this world are divided into:

Apprentice

Squire

Master

Grandmaster

Lord

Grandlord

'With Apprentice being the starting point, while Grandlord is the known peak.'Luke thought

Luke calculated quietly to himself. With me at Master Rank, only about 20% of known masters exist on the continent. The statistic made him sober; even at this level, the elite were few, and the dangers numerous.

"I heard there's a Continental leaderboard for each rank of a knight, starting from Master Rank," he mused aloud, his voice low, almost reverential. "Even then, I should remain cautious. Knights are not only about strength—they are about skill, precision, and judgment."

He nodded to himself, his expression sharpening. "Speaking of skill, I should try this new technique. I'd rather test it in the miniworld, where I can safely experiment on the specters." With that, he opened a rift portal and stepped through.

On the other side, Luke's eyes were met with the vast, infinite landscape of his upgraded miniworld. The world stretched endlessly, more expansive than before, as if his vision had penetrated beyond normal limits. Every tree, every shadow seemed sharper, more real, more alive.

'I can see more beyond the normal view, he thought, scanning the horizon. Is it because I've reached Master rank, or is it because the miniworld itself has upgraded?'

Regardless, he focused on the task at hand. "Anyhow, let's see what Raigeki can do," Luke said, recalling the skill's description. Lightning. That was all he needed. With a deep breath, he held out his hand, concentrating.

For a moment, nothing happened. Then, suddenly, a low, electric crackle filled the air. "Crackle…Crackle," Luke whispered, watching as thin bolts of lightning began crawling along his arm, illuminating every vein and contour.

He blinked, slightly shocked. "I thought it would shoot out like those wizards in the games of my previous life. Then again," he muttered with a wry smile, "the description did say 'coating.'"

"Haaaa"Luke sighed

A sigh escaped him. "Haaaa… I thought I could change class whenever I wanted, but I guess not," he admitted, a trace of disappointment in his voice.

Determined, he called for a sword. Almost instantly, a sword materialized, drawn by the system to his hand with a sharp, whipping sound. In this realm, objects obeyed the summoner completely.

"How about coating my sword?" Luke mused. He focused again, calling forth the lightning.

"Crackle…Crackle…Crackle."

Lightning now wrapped around the blade, its surface flickering like a living conductor. Luke held it up, admiring the way it seemed to pulse with energy. "Nice," he said to himself, a thrill of satisfaction rising within him. "This could be a hidden card for when things get tricky."

"Now, let's try combining some skills using the skill combiner," he whispered, already imagining the devastating potential.

Meanwhile, far outside the Infinite Miniworld, Luke's dorm door echoed with persistent knocks.

"Knock, Knock, Knock!!!"
