"Ama…" The name, a fragile echo in the canvas of her sorrow. She was trapped, lost in the labyrinth of her regrets. "I'm sorry…" The words were a whisper, a broken plea against the storm within. Her gaze was fixed on her hands, trembling like leaves in a hurricane. Seth, his heart a wounded thing, reached out. "Ama…" His voice was a lifeline, a desperate attempt to pull her back from the abyss. Confusion clouded her eyes as she turned, a single tear tracing a path down her cheek. "Where did it go wrong?" he whispered, gently wiping the tears of her, the question a shard of glass in the suffocating silence.
"Hahahaha…"
The laughter, once a melody of joy, now a cruel reminder of what was lost. A flashback, vivid and painful, flooded her mind.
Flashback:
(Scene: In Seth's apartment.)
"Sofy, are you sure about it? It's a decision of a lifetime," Fred said, concern etched on his face.
"Fred's right, Sofy. Don't you think it's too early?" Seth added his concern too.
