"I heard your sister was taken in by the University's disciplinary committee. What did she do?" Song Kai tapped his fingers rhythmically, staring at Huo Mingjie whose exhaustion was written all over his face.
"It will be more than that. Huo Feng would never let this go. She smeared his sister's reputation, and hurt her. Huo Fei is done."
Huo Mingjie's voice was tight, and a flicker of worry flashed through his eyes.
"Do you want to save your sister?" Song Kai asked, leaning back into his chair.
"Of course!" Huo Mingjie replied without hesitation. "I want to save my sister. She's the only family I have left. My father doesn't care about us anymore. I have to save her."
"Well..." Song Kai drew out. "You can save her..."
"How?" Huo Mingjie asked, cutting him off instantly.
"We strike back." Song Kai answered.
Huo Mingjie's brows creased. "I don't understand."
"Huo Feng would be busy clearing your sister's mess, we can use that opportunity to strike back."
