[Wrathful Moon] seemed to answer some unseen summons and drifted to Rita's side. Within it, the complete BS Moon shone with flawless brilliance.
Back then, she had dragged this moon out of BS Harbor.
Now, she would return it to where it belonged.
Her fingers passed through the lampshade, which had long since transformed into mist after countless upgrades. Effortlessly, she touched the moon within the lantern.
With a gentle flick, the moon floated free and hovered before her.
Without its moon, the lantern immediately lost its glow.
Cherishing it, Rita extended a vine from her shoulder and hooked the lantern before it could fall into Starsea.
Even if it no longer possessed its former abilities, that was fine.
It could still sit in her captain's cabin as a night lamp.
And someday, when she had the time to write those stories again, this lantern could continue accompanying her.
As for the BS Moon...
