"Uchiha Genya, you've gone too far!" Shizune's face darkened with a stormy expression as she stared at Genya.
Her eyes were full of warning, and her voice was icy as she said, "Lady Tsunade is a princess of Konoha—how dare you speak ill of her?"
She stepped forward, her hands clenching instinctively. "Apologize to Lady Tsunade immediately!"
Her urgency wasn't just because she was furious that Genya had dared to mock Tsunade.
She also knew Tsunade's temper was explosive. If Genya refused to apologize, there was no telling how hard Tsunade might strike.
One punch could seriously injure him—or worse, endanger his life.
Shizune couldn't bear to see that happen.
After all, even though the people of Konoha called Genya a "waste," he was still the current heir of the Uchiha clan.
If something happened to him, the Uchiha would definitely come after them. Even Tsunade might struggle to handle that.
"Princess? Hmph." Genya narrowed his eyes, a flicker of disdain in them. He stared at Shizune without mercy. "I haven't felt any kindness from her. She's always causing trouble for me."
He lifted his head slightly, his expression stubborn and proud. "As for acknowledging her as a princess, I don't."
Back when the Uchiha clan was oppressed, no one spoke up for them. Everyone believed it was right to suppress the Uchiha.
So, outside of the Uchiha, he had no one above him. They didn't deserve that title.
Besides, Tsunade had once tried to throw him out while drunk. If his strength wasn't superior, he'd probably be lying in a hospital bed now.
"Very well, it seems I need to teach you a proper lesson!" Tsunade's face showed shock as she heard Genya's words. She hadn't expected him to be so audacious.
Memories of what her second grandfather once said flashed through her mind: the Uchiha were an evil clan.
What Genya said about the Senju clan and Hiruzen Sarutobi was far from how she viewed her sensei and Konoha.
This wasn't just an insult—it was an attempt to sow discord and even provoke hatred between the two sides.
Could it be that the Uchiha still harbored ambitions for the Hokage's position?
"Lady Tsunade, please calm down. You haven't been back to Konoha recently, so you might not know—but some of what Genya said is true!" Seeing Tsunade about to strike, Kurenai hurried forward, her expression anxious, speaking sincerely.
Kurenai didn't want them to fight. She knew that if conflict broke out, the consequences could be disastrous.
"Some things are just like Genya said?" Tsunade's face was full of shock, her eyes filled with confusion and disbelief.
"Lately, the Sarutobi clan's Police Force has indeed gone too far, and even the Hokage's recent actions have been somewhat biased!"
Kurenai explained seriously beside her, her brows slightly furrowed, a hint of helplessness in her eyes.
"It's true, the Senju clan members are living in a rather desperate situation now."
She let out a soft sigh, as if feeling regret over the current state of the Senju clan. "Genya even took in two Senju siblings."
Then, Kurenai detailed the recent events to Tsunade, especially the bullying and abuse of power by the Sarutobi Police Force, recounting everything one by one, her words full of dissatisfaction with the chaos within Konoha.
"How is this possible?" Tsunade's face was full of shock and disbelief as she listened. She looked at Kurenai and Genya, her eyes revealing confusion and unease.
Genya and Kurenai's words were like sharp thorns, piercing her heart. She felt a creeping unease, as if the beautiful image of Konoha she had always believed in was slowly crumbling.
Genya, meanwhile, quietly watched Tsunade, his gaze calm and penetrating, as if he could see through everything.
He knew it wouldn't be easy to make Tsunade believe these harsh truths, but the Senju clan's plight had not been hidden. If she returned, she could see the truth for herself.
Yet, over the years, as the leader of the Senju clan, she hadn't returned, nor had she cared for her clan's situation.
From the bottom of his heart, he despised this one of Konoha's legendary Sannin. In his eyes, she had failed to take responsibility.
If it were now Hikari leading the Senju clan, the Senju would be far more prosperous than they are now.
"Hmph. I'll investigate this when I return!" Tsunade snorted coldly, a complex emotion flashing in her eyes—doubt about the truth, and concern for Konoha's current state.
But she quickly dismissed the heavy topic, turning her gaze back to Genya, a trace of resentment returning to her eyes. "Uchiha brat, apologize to me. I'll go easier when I deal with you later!"
Since things had come to this point, taking down this kid seemed reasonable in her eyes.
Even if a ninja from the Uchiha clan arrived, they wouldn't be able to stop her from punishing Genya.
"Lady Tsunade, you…" Kurenai hurriedly spoke, her voice full of anxiety as she tried once more to dissuade Tsunade.
"Kurenai, this is no longer your concern. You'd better stay out of it, or my fists won't recognize you!"
Tsunade's fear of blood was gradually fading. She glanced at Kurenai, who wanted to step forward and intervene, her eyes carrying a clear warning.
At this moment, her heart was filled with anger and unwillingness, completely unaware of what she was about to face.
Kurenai felt a wave of helplessness. Tsunade thought she was helping Genya, but in truth, it was Tsunade who truly needed help.
Even though Tsunade was one of the Legendary Sannin of Konoha, a ninja of great renown, how could she possibly stand against Genya?
After all, Genya had easily subdued a tailed beast. Even the mighty Wood Release user, Wood Ox, was under his command and held him in deep respect.
So how could Tsunade ever be Genya's match?
Kurenai turned her gaze to Genya, her eyes filled with a silent plea. It was as if she were saying: "Go easy on him. Tsunade is a Konoha legend, at least give her some face!"
"I think Sensei should stay out of this. I'll handle this auntie myself," Genya said, understanding Kurenai's meaning. He smiled calmly, a trace of confidence and composure in it, and returned his attention to Tsunade.
"Oh~~ kid, you're quite self-aware. As long as you don't drag your Sensei into this… though I don't like how you address me right now!"
Tsunade smiled, a mixture of pride and disdain in her expression. She then fixed her gaze on Genya, cracking her fingers with a loud snap, snap, as if daring him and showing off her strength.
Genya looked at her, still smiling. "What's the point of a fight? Why don't we try something else instead?"
