Lord Rigas looked at my father and looked at everyone who was waiting for his answer.
"I was away."
He said confusedly, it seems like Cataina really hide it from her own father.
What a clever woman that he didn't even notice anything.
"But, Cataina. She can't be what we were thinking right?"
I heard Lord Rigas asked as he looked at me straight in the eyes.
"She's weak, she can't even hunt well."
He continued and I frowned at what he said.
I remember Cataina acting like my mother as she was even named after her to so, it must be this.
She acts weak, and innocent in front of the Count, but behind his back she was completely different.

I asked as I looked at him, I don't know what to feel for the Count, Do I feel sorry for him because his daughter whom he adopted and raised with so much care had fooled him for so long?
Or should I feel disappointed as he didn't even bothered on checking on her?
"Your daughter wasn't as weak as you though, Lord Rigas."
