Inside the shattered wedding hall, silence spread for a brief moment after the dark energy dome dissolved into countless black-pink particles and vanished into the air.
At the center of the ruined stage stood Dex and Maya.
Or rather—
The beings now wearing their bodies.
Their appearances had changed completely. Pale light-blue skin covered in glowing purple veins, four eyes with pitch-black sclera, long horns extending from their foreheads, and white hair streaked with traces of black corruption. Even the air around them felt distorted, as if reality itself disliked their existence.
Ron and Lia stood frozen.
Neither of them could fully process what they were seeing.
Then the Abyssal inside Dex's body finally spoke.
Its voice was calm, deep, and utterly devoid of humanity.
"Who summoned us?"
The question echoed throughout the hall.
