Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Selling Xuan-level Fighting Skills

Three days later, in the center of Wutan City

The Miter Auction House, the largest auction venue in Wutan City, also belongs to the wealthiest family in the Gama Empire: the Miter Family.

In the Gama Empire, the Miter family is perhaps the most affluent. With a long history spanning hundreds of years, their intricate relationships have established them as one of the Three Giants of Gama, alongside the Nalan and Intel families.

Given their strong background, no one dares to undermine the Miter family, no matter how tempting the profits from the auction might be.

After breaking through to the ninth level of fighting power, Mo Yu had spent several days in seclusion before leaving his family to attend the Miter Auction House's upcoming auction.

Though Mo Yu had mostly forgotten the details of the original novel, he still remembered Ya Fei's beauty. While he wasn't particularly focused on beauty now, catching a glimpse of this alluring goddess, pursued by many men, was a nice reward for his recent hard training.

Looking at the grand conference hall at the end of the street, Mo Yu turned into a secluded alley and quickly donned the black cloak he had prepared.

The oversized robe concealed not only his appearance but also his thin figure, making him almost unrecognizable. Even if his grandfather, Butler Mo, stood right in front of him, he would hardly recognize him.

Satisfied with his disguise, Mo Yu prepared himself for the auction. He had opted for a low-level Xuan-level fighting skill to auction off in order to gather enough funds to purchase items he was interested in.

The fighting skill was a physical skill he had mastered in his previous life and had been transcribed onto a scroll over the past three days. Transcribing such a fighting skill was exhausting, and it had taken him three days to complete. A few months ago, it would have taken even longer.

Touching the black fighting scroll in his arms, Mo Yu chose to conceal his identity, just like Xiao Yan. Although the Thunder and Fire Bead was not particularly valuable to him, the Xuan-level fighting skill was considered a treasure in Wutan City.

Ready, Mo Yu emerged from the alley and walked toward the auction house.

The layout of the Miter Auction House was similar to the Green Weapons Auction House Mo Yu had visited before. Upon entering, he felt a refreshing coolness, reminiscent of air conditioning from his past.

He glanced around the spacious and magnificent hall before heading to the side room marked "Treasure Appraisal Room" with three large golden characters.

Upon opening the door, Mo Yu found the room somewhat empty, with only a middle-aged man sitting by the table, looking rather bored. As he heard the door open, the middle-aged man looked up at the figure in the black robe, frowned slightly, and then quickly adopted a professional smile: "Sir, are you here to appraise a treasure?"

"Hmm." A somewhat dry voice responded from beneath the black robe.

It was just a voice-changing technique. Having seen an uncle change his voice into a young girl's voice in his previous life, Mo Yu had mastered the skill easily.

Mo Yu stepped forward, took out a black scroll from his arms, and gently placed it on the table.

"What is this?" The middle-aged man, blinking in confusion, picked up the black scroll and ran his palm over its rough surface. His face turned pale, and when he looked at Mo Yu again, there was a hint of contempt in his eyes: "Sir, are you selling fighting skills?"

To save time, Mo Yu had used an ordinary scroll for transcribing, which led to the misunderstanding. High-level fighting skills, not to mention their content, typically used top-quality materials.

"What kind of fighting skill is this? What is its function?" The middle-aged man, lacking interest, didn't even attempt to open the scroll and said indifferently.

"The low-level Xuan-level fighting skill, Nine Flashes of the Wandering Dragon, improves the fighter's body movement speed. As professionals at the Miter Auction, you must be familiar with its value," Mo Yu explained, unaffected by the man's dismissive attitude.

"Oh? A physical fighting skill?" The middle-aged man's expression suddenly changed.

He hadn't expected that this seemingly ordinary scroll contained a Xuan-level fighting skill, and a rare body-movement one at that.

Although low-level Xuan-level fighting skills were not uncommon, the rarity of Xuan-level body movement skills made them highly valuable. They were considered as valuable as some intermediate Xuan-level skills.

The middle-aged man eagerly opened the scroll. As an appraiser for the Miter Auction House, he was knowledgeable and spent about fifteen minutes examining it before confirming its authenticity.

This was indeed a rare, low-level Xuan-level physical fighting skill!

With a renewed enthusiasm, the middle-aged man asked, "Sir, are you planning to auction this fighting skill scroll?"

"Yes, I heard there's an auction today. Please arrange for it to be included," Mo Yu said.

"Haha, sir, you are well-informed. There's no problem. Take this to Auction Room No. 1. The auction is indeed being held there. Your fighting skill will be auctioned off later!" The middle-aged man smiled and handed Mo Yu a black iron plate.

"Thank you." Mo Yu took the iron plate and was about to leave the room when a bloated man in a black robe walked in.

Mo Yu was momentarily stunned, then a knowing smile appeared on his face as he turned and exited the room.

The newcomer in the black robe also noticed Mo Yu's outfit and was taken aback, but after seeing Mo Yu leave, he looked puzzled, feeling the figure was vaguely familiar.

Meanwhile, the middle-aged man in the appraisal room scratched his head in confusion. He had encountered two strange guests in quick succession. Could it be that black robes were trending today?

Shaking his head, the middle-aged man dismissed the thought and greeted the next guest with politeness...
