Currently, the voices within the Lan Family can essentially be divided into two types, representing the factions of the four elders—on one side is the war faction advocating continued fighting, and on the other is the peace faction advocating joining the Star Alliance.
The war faction's thinking is simple: becoming the Great Elder of the Star Spirit Council has been the long-cherished wish of all Lan Family clan leaders and ancestors over the years, and it's also the lifelong goal for which countless people in the Lan Family have strived.
The Lan Family has sacrificed too much for this war. Backing out now would undoubtedly waste the efforts of the ancestors, and it's something they are truly reluctant to accept.
However, the peace faction's reasoning is also quite persuasive; war is never a game, a single wrong step leads to continuous mistakes, and actions must not be impulsive.
