Chapter 214 - Chapter 214: Murlocs Controlling Murlocs

Chapter 214: Murlocs Controlling Murlocs

Matthew quickly realized that he shouldn't have placed too much hope on the murloc Bobo and the swamp crocodile Old Six.

"Anyway, their combat strength can be ignored for now; as long as they can manage more murlocs, that's enough."

After their life transformation, Bobo and Old Six not only experienced a change in power but also in size.

Bobo grew a bit, just barely reaching the size of an average murloc.

Whether it was to please Yaya more or because it was more deceptive, his appearance didn't change much—still looking rather silly and cute.

Old Six, on the other hand, shrank slightly, becoming more agile overall.

It perfectly blended into its surroundings, further enhancing its camouflage ability.

Feeling more confident after his power-up, Bobo looked at the hesitant murlocs and suddenly had an idea:

"What are you all standing there for? Jump in! Do you need the great master to tell you personally?"

Bobo's increased strength brought more pressure and authority over the murloc warriors.

Without hesitation, the murlocs all jumped into the pond at once.

Soon, a chorus of agonized screams filled the air.

Bobo couldn't help but chuckle, his eyes glinting with satisfaction at his successful scheme.

Yaya, watching this little creature's actions, subtly noticed his cleverness and made a mental note.

Matthew, observing Bobo's cunning, was pleasantly surprised by the little murloc. He glanced at the batch of murlocs in the pond and carefully recorded the data.

Compared to the drastic changes Bobo and Old Six had undergone, the pond, which had lost more than half of its dragon blood's power, was far less destructive.

Yet, even so, some of the murlocs couldn't withstand the dragon blood's fearsome power and perished with painful screams.

Matthew wasn't surprised by this.

If creating a batch of dragonkin were this easy, the dragons of the West Road wouldn't have weakened over time.

However, Bobo and Old Six had already absorbed some of the pond's power, weakening its effect.

After about twenty murlocs died, the remaining ten or so actually survived.

One by one, the transformed murlocs slowly crawled out of the pond.

Matthew carefully examined them, noting their significant size increase.

They had grown from their original height of 1 meter to about 1.6 meters, with some even reaching 1.8 meters, and their limbs had become much stronger and longer.

Their scales were thicker, and visible muscle lines had formed, giving off a faint, powerful aura.

Compared to their ordinary companions, the Dragonblood Murlocs, while not fully becoming dragonkin, were still quite impressive.

The aspect that pleased Matthew the most was that these murlocs had decent intelligence and could effectively command other murlocs.

This indicated that although these murlocs couldn't be relied on for battle.

After Yaya's transformation, they could still serve a purpose.

At some point, Bobo, who had jumped back onto Old Six's head, looked at the Dragonblood Murlocs, whose life forces were weaker than his, and couldn't help but smile smugly. He quickly led the others in a reverent chant to Yaya:

"Thank you, great master, for granting us new life!"

The other Dragonblood Murlocs, following their bloodline instincts, spoke in broken Draconic, expressing their reverence for Yaya.

Seeing this, Matthew discreetly gave Yaya a thumbs-up.

Yaya beamed with pride but didn't attempt to create more Dragonblood Murlocs. Instead, she spoke in a commanding tone:

"Follow my orders, subdue those unconscious murlocs, and eliminate any disobedient ones."

As she said this, Yaya gestured for Bobo to come over.

Despite being terrified, Bobo didn't hesitate and quickly moved to Yaya's side, showing a look of complete obedience.

Yaya whispered a few words into Bobo's ear. His previously darting eyes immediately lit up, and he nodded vigorously like a pecking bird.

After receiving Yaya's instructions, Bobo, feeling much smarter, knelt down and bowed to the great master several times.

Then, with pride, Bobo openly addressed the other Dragonblood Murlocs:

"I have received the great master's orders! You must all obey my commands to complete the task assigned by our great master!"

Leveraging Yaya's authority, Bobo, along with Old Six—who was a dominant force among the murlocs—displayed his superior strength compared to the others.

Using a combination of words and physical dominance, Bobo successfully subdued the other Dragonblood Murlocs.

Overjoyed at receiving Yaya's orders, Bobo eagerly led his newly gathered underlings to the still-unconscious murlocs.

In the following period.

These cunning Dragonblood Murlocs, under Bobo's command, systematically eliminated the smarter and stronger murlocs.

The purpose was to ensure that no murloc could interfere with their commands!

Then, they selected the weaker and slightly more intelligent small murlocs to serve as their messengers.

The weaker murlocs often got bullied by the stronger ones.

As a result, they had no choice but to rely on the protection of the Dragonblood Murlocs, becoming tools to control the other murlocs.

If any of them had ulterior motives, they wouldn't need the Dragonblood Murlocs to act. The other murlocs, who resented them, would take care of them.

These methods were, of course, taught by Bobo to the Dragonblood Murlocs.

Even though they didn't fully understand why, they obediently carried out the plan.

Not just because Bobo was stronger, but also due to the influence of the dragon blood transformation and Bobo's unique talents and skills.

While Bobo's methods seemed ruthless, they were highly effective.

In just half a day.

The previously chaotic murlocs were quickly organized into a more cohesive group.

Although many murlocs died in the process, the survivors were much more "obedient."

At least, they were very obedient to Bobo.

Elder Field clicked his tongue in amazement as he flipped through the plans in his hands, already excitedly looking for an experiment site.
