I had to agree, their pheromones were a touch too much, but I sure as hell wasn't foolish enough to voice my complaints. Those guys had been staring daggers at Naithynn and Rahzden throughout this entire meeting.
Even if I knew they deserved it, and even if they had brought all of this upon themselves, the thought of seeing Ferdinand rip their throats out like those helpless men yesterday, unnerved me.
I didn't want to plead on their behalf, but I also didn't want to watch them die, either. There was only one person crazy enough to threaten these guys right now, and he was doing a wonderful job.
"Either cut it out, or I'm leaving... Without you!" Tristan yelled, angrily.
His declaration knocked the fight out of everyone, and they immediately directed their glares at him, but he didn't seem bothered at all.
