Ahlehstirr's Point Of View
"Sir, was it wise for you to head this mission personally?" Abehl asked, nervously.
"Yeah, it'll be fine. Aahjinn can handle things in my absence. Don't sweat it." I replied with a shrug.
Truthfully, I knew that Aahjinn would probably struggle without me around, but I also knew that Gaibe was just as worried about Ferdinand's situation, as I was. I had been having an ominous feeling about the government's actions, ever since the beginning of their untimely assault.
There was no way that I could remain back in Mezz'Fayeha, and leave everything up to someone else. I wouldn't be satisfied, unless I could personally assist them in whatever ways that I could. Furthermore, the lackadaisical manner in which the government had approached our Duhtchy, was extremely disconcerting as well.
I knew it was foolish to feel slighted at their supposed disinterest, but I couldn't help it. It was like a slap in the face, and I was a fairly petty man.
