Shannon's Point Of View
'Well, fuck... This might be more of a challenge than that idiot made it out to be...'
I stifled a groan as I stepped out of the door, and into the backyard. After completely exiting the doorway and surveying our surroundings, I realized that we were currently smack dab in the middle of the yard.
Most aggravating of all, was that due to our unfavorable positioning, I was currently being overwhelmed by an indescribable amount of murderous intent and bloodlust, from the sizable group of enemy aggressors, gathered up across from the detached house I had just come out of.
"Ma'am, we have the means to slow them down momentarily. That said, we won't be able to escape so easily, if the other group inside of the detached house actually manages to eliminate Zeehk's team, and catches us in a pincer attack." Kadarius advised me, his voice barely above a whisper.
