volume 0 1death

A man with pale face typed " the final chapter will be published today". His face was ghostly pale, as if all life had been drained from it, leaving a complexion devoid of any warmth or color.

His jet black hair in disarray, messy strands falling over his forehead and ears, showing perfectly that the man hadn't bothered to tame it in weeks.

His eyes seemed hollow, devoid of any emotion other than overwhelming pain, his eyes were dark, like bottomless pits, reflecting neither hope nor fear, only a deep, lingering sorrow that clung to him like a shadow.

No spark of joy, anger, or even despair flickered within them—just the heavy weight of suffering, etched so deeply that it seemed eternal.

Those eyes, lifeless and empty, told the story of someone who had long since surrendered to his inner torment and suffering.

A dark circle clung under his eyes displaying countless sleepless nights he had gone through.

His body, equally pale, seemed almost fragile—thin and gaunt, the skin stretched over bones with little muscle or vitality to show. He looked like a man haunted, drained of both energy and spirit.

The man was the author of a web novel named "regressing tales of the protagonist" it's one of the most popular and read web novel around the globe.

The man's name was Thomas Blake who had been suffering his entire life. He was born in a middle class family. He was a boy with a very big dream who wanted to study in the biggest university which also happens to be a very expensive university.

Being born in a middle class family who didn't have money to pay for the expensive university of the nation. He studied very hard to get the scholarship from the university but it was given to the university's headmaster child who didn't even need it.

That was the day he realized power is everything. If you have power you can bend the rules of society norms and values to your will.

Even though he scored the highest in the entrance examination he didn't get the scholarship because the headmaster interfered and gave his own child a scholarship.

The person who scored the highest was supposed to get the

Scholarship but he didn't get it and even the media and the teachers-professors didn't object to anything because they were afraid of offending the headmaster of the biggest university.

Thomas realized that day when you have enough power you can bend people to your will and whim.

Because he didn't get the scholarship he didn't study at that university and joined a normal university. He moved out from his parents home after joining the university because he didn't want to be a burden to them.

Some time in his life went well. He had a girlfriend, he was studying well. That's when he heard about the demise of his family members in a car accident. The death of his family member left him broken.

After the demise of his family members his life started degrading and his girlfriend also broke up with him.

He slowly started having hard time breathing, he began to lose his weight. When he went to check on the hospital he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

The doctor said he had 12-14 months to live. After hearing that he quit the university and confined himself in his apartment. To relieve himself he started to write fantasy stories.

He published his web novel and slowly started to get popular . Within 6 months it became the most read web novel. He earned a lot of money but he donated all of it to charity.

After all, money doesn't mean much to a man about to die.

Today is the 13th month the doctor had informed him that he finished writing the last chapter.

He was afraid that he wouldn't be able to finish his story but it seems fated favored pitied him.

He stood up from his chair and started walking towards the kitchen to eat something when he reached the door to kitchen with ragged breathing and a throbbing ache in his chest.

The pain was his constant companion now, relentless ache that throbbed within his chest. The pain was like a heavy weight, pressing down his lung, making it harder for him to breath.

He'd been living with this for months, a prisoner in his own body's pain.but today the pain felt a little different it was more intense, more unrelenting and he knew it was the harbinger of inevitable.

He collapsed on to the floor. the world seems to tilt, for a moment he thought he was gonna lose his consciousness, but he fought through the haze, the pain driving. He crawled to his computer, his finger trembling to reach the keyboard.

With a final surge of struggle, he tapped the enter key. The screen flickered and a message appeared " the chapter has been published".

He smiled, a bittersweet expression with death slowly taking over him.he thought 'at least i completed the novel for my reader'.

To him the book wasn't just a story it was his hope and despair, hope because it was an aurodus , heat wrenching, Ruthless tale of mc name Ajit Clover,in the fantasy world becomes powerful enough to define his destiny.

And despair because that is a fantasy not real life where he gets stronger and changes his life. Fantasies that will never come true.

Fantasies are nothing but lies. Prevaricates, People convince them to believe in

A beautiful lie.

He closed his eyes, slumbering and accepting his fate.
