"This is impossible, how can this be?...Are you a gh-ghost or something??", Eddie exclaimed in revelation. He stood stunned on the spot until he saw Kevin along with Jack. He came back to his senses and invited them inside.
Jack never thought that a shabby looking house from outside can be this much captivating from its internal perspective. Eddie asked them to have a sit while keeping a slight distance from Jack because he still couldn't believe what he is seeing with his own eyes. He couldn't muster up the courage to ask anything from Jack so, he queried about it from Kevin "I-is he re-really Master Jack, Kevin sir?"
"Why don't you ask him, maybe he can answer you more accurately", Kevin replied Eddie directly pointing at Jack.
Eddie, who had been standing still all this time, suddenly fell to his knees with a loud thud in front of Jack. "I thought we lost you. Your unanticipated disappearance that night left us dumbfounded." Eddie expressed his thoughts with teary eyes. He continued "And to be honest, I was very scared upon seeing those peoples. The way they blocked our way. Those Wea-Weapons. Even today, those scary sights haunt me."
"Eddie, listen me first. Just elaborate every fcking single moment from that night with farthest clarification", Jack retorted with dominance. Eddie became terrified upon hearing Jack's tensed words. He surely knows what his, Master, is capable of in rage. He was well aware of his Master's tone and words. He decided not to dwell this topic anymore and spilled "That night, half past one, we were returning from Sinclair Hotel. You were looking furious and a bit tired too at that time. To avoid traffic jams, I took a shortcut which obviously goes through the outskirts of the city. You were ceaselessly smoking. And as usual, upon seeing your mood, I decided not to disturb you."
Jack was attentively listening to Eddie's words. Even Kevin, who was siting at the other end of the couch, paying attention to Eddie's every phase. But the thing which no-one noticed is, Kevin was with someone on a phone call at that time. It seems Kevin wanted someone else to hear these incidents beside Jack.
"Out of nowhere, a SUV blocked our way and consecutively out of pitch black surrounding more SUV's came in. We were surrounded by more than 10 SUVs within a few minutes. You immediately asked me to cross-check if all the car gates are locked from inside and at the same commanded me to fetch your pistol from the back seat."
With a slight pause as if Eddie was trying to recall something from that blood-curdling night, he continued "I handed your pistol over to you the very next second and I remember you were blabbering something like, 'Anthony, he sabotaged me behind my back, Bastards...he conspired against me with my enemies', I tried to stop you from stepping out of the car but you shot me a death glare and I was left speechless."
Eddie took a deep breath and continued "In the blink of an eye, you were standing in between those wolves just like a hungry lion waiting to devour its prey in a single slash. There were more than 60 peoples in All-black suit, each carrying an assault rifle. Upon witnessing that scene unfolds right in front of my eyes, I was frightened and shocked too seeing not even a glimpse of fear in your eyes."
"Before I can even think of any solution, one of the men launched an attack on you. But, you, Master dodged his attack swiftly and delivered a heavy blow to his face. Blood spurted out of his mouth and he staggered backwards watching you in awe. Two more men charged on you but the very next second, they were lying lifeless near your foot and you were seen spinning pistol in between your fingers. Then they all attacked you at once, you dodged, threw punches-kicks, you were looking like a devil bathed in blood but they outnumbered you. You staggered back, your mouth dripping with blood, Tuxedo bloodshed and then I heard a bullet shot. I saw you getting shots after shots and still fighting back with them. I am literally ashamed to say this but I took advantage of the opportunity that they were indulged in you and I ran away from the sidelines as no one was paying attention to me.", Eddie briefed with tears of guilt in his eyes.
"And then??", Jack inquired in a relatively elevated tone.
"And then I ran without even looking back. After running for more than 5 miles I took a sigh of relief and my next step was naturally to dial Kevin sir's number, Master."
"But at that time, you only told me that I should save Jack from Anthony Marc and he is heavily injured. But why didn't you tell me all this before??, I have asked you before many times but you refused to tell anything except those 2 lines.", Kevin asked Eddie angrily.
Eddie replied hesitantly "Because I was afraid to tell anyone about that incident. I told you Kevin sir, that night and guilt of leaving Master Jack alone that night still haunts me."
"But now, after witnessing my Master's return, I am fully confident." Eddie replied assertively.
Jack who was silently analyzing everything stood up abruptly and asked "Can you take me to that place, Eddie??"
