No one gave me even a single second to ask the important questions. There wasn't any window for me to even speak much.
I wanted to know things, like where the fuck we were. Or what exactly had happened to them after I went full suicidal maniac against a god.
I did manage to piece together a very vague, heavily watered-down version of the events that transpired while I was busy sleeping after dying from tidbits of their conversation.
But it was nothing even remotely concrete.
Instead of answering my queries, they were more interested in interrogating me since they wanted my version of the story, of the fight that happened, the situation that spiraled me into the state Kang had found me in.
So I kept answering them between sips of water and some kind of warm broth that Lily had brought me from… I don't know where. I had no idea what was going on, as I said.
By the end of the QnA, my head was killing me.
