Obedience asks to obey,
Patience asks to understand,
Sympathy asks to sympathise,
Or am I too gullible to pretend?
I can't be so simple—won't;
For I fail to recognise it.
If not for me, nor for anyone else,
Or is it different in this case?
A hero forgives the past,
A villain fights for himself;
I can be neither of those,
For I am no hero, nor a saint.
