The next day, she and Cyrus went around the city one more time, touring everywhere notable in the inferno city only returning when the sun had already made wat for the moon to shine. The last day went pass in a blink of an eye but Arina cherished every memory they made together. The D-Day finally arrived and a dazzling carraige flew into the courtyard. Stepping out was the handsome and mischievous Crown Prince beaming like who had won a lottery.
"Arina." He said perfectly ignoring the others. In his eyes only his mate was worthy of his attention.
"Crown Prince." Arina said bowing in greetings.
"Crown Prince Kaiden." King Damien said obviously displeased by the blantant disrespect the young Prince had shown to him but he held on from teaching the arrogant prince a lesson due to the future alliance he planned between Fire and Water. He planned to take advantage of the union between the Crown Prince and Arina to Join forces with Water for his future plans.
Kaiden reluctantly dragged his gaze away from his mate and looked at the King "King Damien".
His gaze automatically returned to his mate when..
' _How dare he ignore my mother._'
Arina fumed internally though she kept a neutral expression on her face.
"Queen Nora, lovely to see you again, you look stunning as usual." Kaiden said bowing.
Queen Nora, whose mind had been occupied with Arina leaving, suddenly jolted back at the mention of her name.
"Oh child, it's a pleasure seeing you too" She replied quickly regaining her compusure, as expected of a queen. If one was to look closely at the king, one would see something akin to smoke coming out of his ears.
" Thank you, shall we?" Kaiden said directing his questions at his mate.
" Hmm". Here she was, taking a step accepting to leave with a man she barely knew, everything felt strange to her but still there was that longing feeling that seemed to pull her to this man. Turning to look at the family she knew since the last six months. Queen Nora slightly nodded at her, her own silent form of encouragement, Cyrus just smiled and said.
"Hey, you are not allowed to forget your elder brother, you hear me."
Arina parted her lips to speak but words failed her so she could only nod her head, her eyes brimming with unshed tears.
There was something, no someone missing- Prince Sirius. She hadn't seen him since the night of the ball, She had hoped he would come out at least to say goodbye but he hadn't. He's probably busy with his bride to be. She didn't know why but the thought of that sent a sharp pain to her heart and her tears intensified.
"Come on now, I didn't think you would miss my handsome face that much." Cyrus teased but his eyes were soft and his lips curved into a genuine smile, unlike his usual arrogant smirk.
Queen Nora stepped forward and hugged her daughter, gently cleaning away her tears. "Go now but always remember you're room is right there, no one's gonna change it, come back home anytime you like."
Her hands reached to Ariana's neck and when she pulled away, a beautiful Golden pendant with the fire realms symbol hung on her neck. Queen Nora placed her index finger on the pendant and it began to shine, radiate heat but strangely it didn't scald her, instead the heat warmed her insides giving her a feeling. A feeling like... Home.
"Let this always remind you that your mother is right here for you. I've blessed it with the warmth of the Spirits and it would protect you wherever you are."
So many words bounced arounde in Arina's heart yet the only words she could force out were: " Thank you, mother" .

On their way to the Water realm, the carraige was unusually quiet, till Kaiden spoke " You know, you can come back to visit anytime ,just say the word" He said quietly, his voice offering a soothing comfort to her troubled heart.
But Arina could only hum in response , she looked out the carriage feeling a certain emptiness that she couldn't define. It felt like her heart was being torn in two like she was leaving a part of herself behind.
Slowly the scene outside the carriage changed indicating their arrival at the Water realm. Soon the carriage came to a halt as they had reached the Prince's castle in the capital city of the water realm, Venice. The carriage doors slowly opened for them to step out.
' *sigh* here goes nothing'
