On the flat stone at the center of the small island in Medicine King Valley—was it actually a sacrificial altar or a Rune Array?
If it was a sacrificial altar, then stepping onto it would mean death, because an altar itself was used for sacrifice. Who would dare casually stand upon an altar? That would be a kind of blasphemy against the heavens!
If it was a Rune Array, then how was one supposed to activate this Rune Array? And what was the function of this Rune Array? Even if one managed to activate it and step inside, what kind of place would it transmit a person to?
All of these were doubts, all of these were unknown variables; this was not something to joke about. With the slightest carelessness, not only would they fail to leave this small island of Medicine King Valley, they could also fall at any moment into a fate of body and spirit annihilation. Sometimes, trying and adventuring was not something you could just mess around with!
