In retrospect, even though Wen Qiao and Jinghen have been together for quite some time, and occasionally go grocery shopping or eat out, they never actually had a proper date.
To show her importance on the first date, Wen Qiao specially put on makeup and rummaged through the walk-in closet, choosing three long dresses and two coordinated tops and skirts for Jinghen to pick from.
After all, it's a date with him, and as the saying goes, women dress for those they love, so of course, she lets Jinghen choose.
