Du Shali finished reading the application, then looked at Lu Jie, a beauty in her own right, and said, "Mr. Lu, our former class leader is really impressive, planning out such a major move. What's your intent in showing me this?"
Lu Jie gave a faint smile and said, "Chief Du, my intent is clear. I need you to approach Secretary Luo, and help those four towns in Linxi pass the barrier at the city level!"
Du Shali blushed and said, "Well... I'm afraid I don't have that much power?"
"Come on, Chief Du, who doesn't know you've got Secretary Luo wrapped around your finger, doing everything you say? With you stepping in, what can't be accomplished? Besides, I've invested ten million in this project. Don't you want to find a way to get in on this, Chief Du? The future dividends from this project are quite considerable, hehe..."
"Wow~" Du Shali's eyes lit up, "You've already invested?"
"Of course!"
Of course, Du Shali's little calculations started running in her head!
