Chi Yue guessed Mr. Qi's identity and also why he wanted to have a paternity test done with Fu Rongyin, but that didn't mean she let down her guard.
"This is a matter between my husband and me, and I'd rather not disclose any details. If you don't have any other matters, sir, I'll take my leave now."
Old Qi nodded slightly, "Go ahead."
After Chi Yue left, Mr. Qi's assistant asked him, "Weren't you here to confront her today, sir?"
Mr. Qi looked proud, "Do you think she couldn't guess my identity? Even though she did, she didn't sell out the man by her side, the one she is going to divorce."
The assistant was puzzled.
Mr. Qi, in a rare good mood, explained: "Originally, I just pretended to kick my eldest son out of the house, but that woman immediately sold him out. Now look at my granddaughter-in-law, she's about to get divorced and yet she didn't sell the man by her side."
The assistant suddenly realized, "You were testing her!"
