Zhen Yan said he could come back in the afternoon, but he didn't get home until dinner time.
When he got back, Han Mingyue had already left, and Zhen Yu was sitting cross-legged on the sofa eating hot noodle soup by herself.
The noodles were cooked by Han Mingyue, and she even added two poached eggs, making Zhen Yu sweat all over.
"Little sister! Is there dinner for me too?" Zhen Yan asked as soon as he entered.
Zhen Yu shook her head and said, "No! Just this bowl! Cook your own noodles!"
She paused and then asked, "Didn't she leave you any dinner?"
Zhen Yan thought his sister was complaining that he spent too long at their mother's place, and quickly explained, "I left our mom's house in the afternoon and dropped by two internet cafes!"
With that said, Zhen Yu's tone clearly disapproved!
"You went online?"
"No! I just went to check on things! After all, we're going to the Capital for over a week, and I'm worried!"
