All along, Luo Zheng had thought the Seven Bases were the Dark Church's main force; he never imagined they were just the outer ring. That meant this organization's strength was terrifying. If they could destroy the other five bases, even if it didn't wound the Dark Church's core vitality, it would still weaken their power, right? Luo Zheng stared at Tie Diao, shock written all over his face.
Tie Diao thought for a moment and said, "Of the remaining five bases, the most valuable are this base and the one in Antarctica. This one does research; the Antarctica base handles production. The other three exist mainly to funnel personnel to the Dark Church, not much value. They can be destroyed. But once they're destroyed, our intel sources will be greatly reduced. Weighing it up, it's more valuable to keep them."
"So that's how it is. If we destroy them, wouldn't that cut off their troop supply?" Luo Zheng pressed.
