Kouhei and Petra eventually stopped in front of an apartment complex, and Kouhei immediately found himself wondering why they had decided to stop there instead of continuing somewhere else.
He looked around the area for a moment, taking in the buildings and the people moving around nearby. Nothing about the place immediately stood out to him as particularly suspicious, which somehow made him even more confused about why Petra had brought him here.
Kouhei turned toward her with a questioning look.
Petra simply looked back at him and smiled as though she had been waiting for him to ask.
"We are here," she said.
"Here?" Kouhei asked, looking back toward the apartment complex. "Uh... what exactly am I supposed to be doing here?"
"It's fine," Petra said casually. "She's still on her way to her institution, so you have some time. I don't think you'd want to approach her anywhere near the church, would you?"
Kouhei's expression immediately became more serious.
