Indeed, the power swirling in George's hand was the Dragon Force from the Fairy Tail world—specifically, a modified version he had refined.

It no longer carried the debilitating weakness of motion sickness. Furthermore, it allowed for seamless switching between human and dragon forms without losing human sensory depth or succumbing to draconic bloodlust. By infusing each member with a spark of this power, the entire Black Bulls squad would be transformed into Dragon Slayers. Later on, even a foray into the Underworld would be nothing to fear.

The dragons of Earthland were formidable entities; George estimated they were easily on par with the High-Ranking Devils of this world.

"What? Transform into giant dragons? George, you've got to be joking."

Even though the squad had come to view George as a steady, reliable genius who didn't go in for pranks, this was a bridge too far. Dragons in this world were creatures of myth, even rarer than devils. To be told they could become one was simply unbelievable.

"Don't believe me? One trial is worth a thousand words," George said with a calm smile. "Who's brave enough to go first?"

"Me! Me! Pick me!" Asta shot to the front like a cannonball. Being the one with the least common sense regarding magic, he was ironically the one who trusted George the most.

"But Asta, you don't have mana," Noelle pointed out from behind, instantly deflating Asta's excitement.

Right. He had no mana to fuse the Dragon Force with. He had been dreaming of using this power to surpass the genius Yuno and become the Wizard King first.

"It doesn't matter. You don't need mana," George said. He manifested the Iron Dragon Force in his palm and pressed it onto the crown of Asta's head, guiding the metallic energy into his meridians.

George had examined Asta's body. The boy wasn't born without the capacity for mana; rather, his mother's unique constitution had siphoned every drop of it away in the womb, causing his internal mana synthesis to malfunction. By stimulating his system with Dragon Force, his body could finally begin producing its own unique energy.

Besides, even if he lacked natural mana, he could use Liebe's demonic power as a fuel source. If Natsu—the strongest fire demon—could be a Dragon Slayer, so could Asta.

Along with the energy, George imprinted the fundamental concepts of Iron Dragon Slayer Magic into Asta's mind. Within the black five-leaf grimoire, several new spells instantly flickered into existence.

"Iron Dragon Slayer Magic: Iron Dragon's Roar!"

Asta's skin momentarily took on a dull, metallic sheen. He took a deep breath, and a violent torrent of jagged metal shards and grey energy erupted from his mouth. The blast punched a massive hole through the castle wall, carving a straight path through the forest outside for hundreds of meters.

"I... I have mana! I can use actual magic!" Asta realized, tears of joy streaming down his face.

After years of being looked down upon and proving himself through nothing but physical labor, he finally had his own power. He didn't just have to swing a heavy sword anymore; he could cast. However, since his body had just started synthesizing mana, that one roar had completely drained his tank.

"Eat this," George said, picking up a heavy iron candlestick from a nearby table.

Asta looked at the metal, felt a primal, instinctive hunger, and shoved it into his mouth.

Crunch, crunch, crunch...

To the absolute horror of the onlookers, Asta devoured the metal candlestick like it was a piece of crusty bread.

"I can feel my mana coming back!" Asta cheered.

"It... it really works!"

Seeing the mana-less boy suddenly casting high-tier destructive spells was all the proof they needed. The skepticism vanished instantly.

"Me next! I'm next!" Magna stepped forward.

George infused him with the Fire Dragon Force. Since Magna already possessed a decent amount of mana, the output was significantly higher than Asta's.

"Fire Dragon Slayer Magic: Fire Dragon's Roar!"

Magna tested his new power, blowing a hole in the castle wall that was twice the size of Asta's.

"The power boost is insane!" Yami, usually the most stoic, was no longer calm.

He knew Magna's limits better than anyone. Magna was hardworking, but at best, he was middle-of-the-pack. Yet that roar just now carried the concentrated destructive heat of someone like Fuegoleon Vermillion, the Captain of the Crimson Lion Kings. It was at least Vice-Captain level.

"What kind of monster did I recruit?" Yami thought, tossing his cigarette away. He was incredibly glad he'd brought George on board. If his entire squad reached this level, the other eight squads combined wouldn't be a match for the Black Bulls. He started laughing, imagining the look on the other Captains' faces.

The rest followed in rapid succession. George tailored the Dragon Force to their innate affinities:

Luck: Lightning Dragon Force (instantly pushing him to Captain-level combat power).

Noelle: Water Dragon Force (her massive royal mana reserves meant she reached Captain-level immediately).

Finral: Sky/Spatial Dragon Force.

Charmy: Wood/Earth Dragon Force.

Gauche: Mirror Dragon Force.

Vanessa: Fate/Thread Dragon Force.

Gordon: Poison Dragon Force.

Grey: Transformation Dragon Force.

Secre: Holy/Seal Dragon Force.

Henry: Gold Dragon Force (George had already cured his mana-leeching condition, allowing him to live normally).

Finally, George stood before Lumiere and Yami. The others were impressive, but they would need years of combat to reach "Dragonification." These two, however, were already at the peak.

George gave Lumiere the White/Light Dragon Force, and then he gave Yami the most potent one: the Acnologia/Black Dragon Force.

As the "Dragon King" attribute, Yami's Dark Magic wouldn't just be reinforced—it would gain the ability to "consume" any magic thrown at it.

"I feel... stronger than I ever thought possible," Yami whispered, feeling the surging tide of mana and a primal instinct to transform.

"Go outside and release that instinct," George advised. If Yami transformed inside, there would be no castle left.

On the clearing outside, under the expectant gazes of the squad, Yami's body expanded. In a blur of dark shadows, he grew into a massive, terrifying Black Dragon. He circled the castle once, his wings creating small hurricanes, before landing with a thunderous boom.

"I feel like I could take on a hundred of my old selves," Yami laughed, shifting back into human form. "From this day on, we aren't the Black Bulls anymore. We are the Black Drakes! That fits us much better!"

The strongest squad in history was born.

"That should do it," George thought, watching the exuberant group. With this much firepower, they could handle almost anything the world threw at them.

"George, we're going to the Eye of the Midnight Sun's base tonight," Lumiere said, walking over with eyes like flint. He had intended to wait a week, but with the Dragon Force, he felt he could make the Word Soul Devil kneel and beg for mercy right now.

"No problem," George nodded. He had already decoded the laws in the first Magic Stone; it was time for some new material.

As the squad tested their new powers—destroying half the forest in the process (luckily Charmy's Wood Dragon magic could regrow it)—Yami pulled George aside.

"You aren't using the Dragon Force yourself?" Yami asked. He could tell George still had his "small" mana pool and no draconic aura.

"I like studying magic, not fighting," George lied smoothly.

Yami flicked his cigarette. "I know you, Lumi, and Re aren't as simple as you look. But it doesn't matter. I can feel your goodwill. If you ever need help with anything, just ask."

"Don't worry, I won't be polite. After all, you still owe me a lot of money," George smirked. He wasn't surprised Yami had noticed their oddities; they hadn't been that careful. But as long as the world's "Creator" didn't see him as a threat to the narrative, it was fine.

That Night: Eye of the Midnight Sun Base

A spatial portal snapped open. George, Lumiere, and Secre stepped out.

"Who goes there?!" The patrolling mages immediately surrounded them. George ignored them, his mental sense sweeping the base. He found five Magic Stones embedded in a stone tablet in a central chamber.

"The stones are over there. Let's go." George opened another portal directly into the room with the tablet. Lumiere and Secre followed.

Lumiere's brow furrowed as he looked at the tablet. "This is... demonic script. It's a specialized unsealing ritual. If all ten stones are gathered, it can break any seal."

"It seems the devil is indeed behind this," George said, casually plucking the five stones from the tablet and pocketing them. "The only question is whether the 'Licht' leading them knows the truth or is just another pawn."
