"And then?" Li Feng asked.
"Then we assess. See how coherent he is, whether there's any cognitive impairment, how much pain he's in. We'll need to manage his pain carefully while keeping him alert enough to communicate."
Li Feng nodded, relief flooding through him.
Finally. Finally he's coming back.
"When he wakes up," Li Feng said carefully, "how soon can he... make phone calls? Handle important communications?"
Dr. Morrison gave him a knowing look.
