Feeling the chakra stockpiled in the interdimensional space at his brow, Seimei glanced at his proficiency panel and started seriously mulling over how to divvy up these 630,000 points.
First up, "Fire Release: Flame Convergence Strike" needed a bigger investment.
The 306,000 points he was pumping into it daily wasn't chump change, but like he'd said before, for this jutsu, more chakra was always better.
So, he decided to carve out 194,000 points from the pool, bringing the total to a nice, round 500,000 for practicing this technique.
At the current rate—200 points of chakra for one proficiency tick—that'd net him 2,500 proficiency points a day.
Add in what he'd already built up, and in about half a month, he'd hit the top of lv8 and be ready to push for the next breakthrough.
Half a month felt a little long, sure, but considering how much this jutsu meant to him, it was tolerable.
Beyond that, he still had to put some work into Lightning and Earth techniques.
Lightning was a no-brainer.
He'd already settled on a plan: tap into his memories, take a page from Kakashi's book, and develop "Lightning Release: Raikiri."
If he pulled it off, it'd seriously boost his control over Lightning chakra.
With that, getting his Lightning nature transformation up to par—enough to fuse with the other six attributes and unlock a Kekkei Tota—might not be a pipe dream.
So, he earmarked 136,000 points for that.
That left him with 300,000 points of chakra to play with daily.
And those? He was dumping them all into Earth techniques.
Now, about Earth…
Originally, he'd planned to just go the "quantity to quality" route.
But six days ago, while resting back in the village and poking around the Uchiha clan's secret archive for matching jutsu, he stumbled across a research notebook.
That notebook flipped his whole strategy on its head. Instead of sticking to just "quantity to quality," he decided to chase both quantity and quality at the same time.
How's that work?
Pretty straightforward. "Quantity" meant learning new Earth jutsu as planned, while "quality" meant developing new Earth techniques, just like with Lightning chakra.
What was he developing, though?
That's where the notebook comes in.
It was packed with Tobirama Senju's research on Iwa Village's secret techniques: "Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique" and "Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique."
Yup, you heard that right—this notebook belonged to Konoha's Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, not some Uchiha ninja!
Seimei had no clue how it ended up in the Uchiha archive, but that didn't stop him from digging in.
Everyone knows Iwa ninjas are the champs when it comes to understanding and mastering Earth chakra.
And among them, the Tsuchikages through the generations stand out. The jutsu they've got under their belts are the gold standard.
Take "Added-Weight Rock Technique" and "Light-Weight Rock Technique"—both are tricks the Second and Third Tsuchikages were pros at.
To Seimei, these two jutsu were basically the pinnacle of Earth chakra nature transformation.
The first pumps up an object's mass, while the second lightens it.
And it gets crazier—"Light-Weight Rock Technique" can level up into "Earth Release: Ultra-Light-Weight Rock Technique," tweaking a body's density so it's lighter than air, letting you float or even fly.
No doubt about it: if he mastered these three, his grasp of Earth chakra nature transformation would shoot through the roof.
Getting it all in one go—up to the level needed to fuse the other six attributes for a Kekkei Tota—wasn't out of the question.
That's exactly why he ditched the pure "quantity to quality" path.
Of course, having the notebook didn't mean he could instantly nail "Added-Weight Rock" and "Light-Weight Rock."
It wasn't like Tobirama scribbled down step-by-step instructions.
But he did break down the principles behind them pretty clearly.
With Seimei's current handle on Earth chakra, a little deep study should be enough to figure them out.
Thinking it over, he opened his ninja pouch and pulled out a scroll and the notebook.
The notebook, naturally, was Tobirama's research.
The scroll? That was the Earth jutsu he was gearing up to learn.
He unrolled it, revealing the technique inside: "Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet Technique!"
Yup, the classic B-rank jutsu.
Seimei planned to use it to rack up the "quantity" part of his "quantity to quality" approach.
Once it was maxed out, if he still hadn't cracked "Added-Weight Rock" and "Light-Weight Rock," he'd move on to other Earth jutsu to keep stacking that "quantity."
How to split the chakra between them?
He mulled it over and decided to chop the remaining 300,000 points in half—150,000 each for the two tracks.
And with that, the 630,000 points freed up from maxing out his four other jutsu were all spoken for.
No time to waste. Seimei raised his hands, flashed some signs, and cast "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique," popping out over a hundred clones.
This time, though, he couldn't just split them into groups like before. They weren't only learning new jutsu—they were researching and developing new ones too.
The time each task took was all over the place.
To hit his daily training goals with max efficiency and minimal chakra waste, he'd need to keep tweaking things on the fly.
No way he'd nail it down in one go.
Good thing Seimei had patience to spare.
He figured he'd sort it all out before his next break—over the next four days.
Four days… should be enough!
With that in mind, he glanced down at the crowd of shadow clones below.
No need for super precise math yet. First, he picked out the usual number of clones to keep grinding "Fire Release: Thousand Swallow Dance," "Flame Convergence Strike," "Izanami," and "Izanagi."
Then, he split the rest into three even groups—1:1:1.
One group kicked off with "Earth Dragon Bullet Technique."
The other two tackled researching "Raikiri" and "Added-Weight Rock Technique."
Since he'd allocated roughly the same chakra to all three, a 1:1:1 split might not be the most efficient use of chakra at first, but it wouldn't be far off either.
From there, he'd just adjust based on each hour's progress.
