Chapter 2 - The Art Of Letting Go...

"The Art Of Letting Go" is a very personal and transformational activity, in which one may let go of people, things, or feelings etc that no longer serve us and accept the release within oneself. It demands acceptance, patience, and courage.

What do we let go through out our life?

Childhood, the innocence, the carefree life

Friends, family members, boyfriend, girlfriend

Our dreams, life goals that we decided in our childhood

Our "Home"

Our beauty with age

Our old version of ourselves

Letting Go isn't easy but a brutal truth of life , no one is forever, nothing stays with you forever, letting go " jaane doh" let it go when its time ..

Why is letting go so difficult?

We , we are most afraid of letting go it's because we hold on familiar even when they don't bring us happiness but it's just comfortable , we are afraid of changes , we are afraid of unknown, we are afraid of betrayal, we often forget that holding onto these keeps us stuck in the same room, we don't really belong to ..

It's like you have two doors one with future golden opportunities and other one which is locked with your past which no longer is required and you are wasting your time to unlock that door ...But once you turn away from it and look at the open door in front of you, you realize that moving forward brings you more possibility then the locked one ...

Why Letting go?

When we let go, we free ourselves emotionally, mentally, and sometimes even physically. We can finnally time peace around us. It gives us new experiences with new people , and to grow in ways we could not imagine. And most importantly, it teaches us that life is about adapting, accepting and , about moving forward.

How do we let go?

"Acceptance" Accept that not everything is in our hand , not everything goes according to our plans . Accept that life is unpredictable. Focus on the present. Appreciating what we have, rather than focusing on what we have lost or what we don't have.

Be gentle, kind to yourself. Take time .. it's always okay.. Go with your speed ....

As we continue through life, always remember: some things are meant to be cherished, some lessons are meant to be learned, and some things—no matter how difficult—are meant to be let go....
